Known as the City of Whispering Monuments, Bidar is situated at the border of Maharashtra and Telangana.

Its existence is recorded earliest with the 3rd Century B. C. when it was a part of the glorious Mauryan Empire. Since then, Bidar has seen the splendor of many dynasties including Allauddin Khilji, the Tughlaks, and the Bahamani Dynasties.

The current fort in place is attributed to the first Sultan of the Bahamani Dynasty, in a shift of capitals from Gulbarga to Bidar.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Reach Bidar from Hyderabad

  Visit the Bidar Fort which has over 30 monuments inside and has great historical importance.
  Visit the Madrasa of Mahmud Gawan which was an educational institution for Islamic studies and is one of its kind in India
  Visit the tombs of the Bahmani Kings of the 15th and 16th Centuries in Ashtur. There are eight tombs of the kings of the Bahmani dynasty in this area, and their style of architecture demonstrate the gradual deterioration of the political power of the dynasty.
  Head back to the resort for a pleasant stay and dip in the pool followed by local delicacies for dinner
• Day 2 : Head back from Bidar to Hyderabad
