On arrival at the airport meet with our representative Garhwal Himalayan Expedition at the airport arrival lounge then transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast new Delhi sightseeing like Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate, Parliament House. Overnight at Delhi.
Lotus Temple - The structure is made up of pure white marble The architect Furiburz Sabha chose the lotus as the symbol common to Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Islam. Adherents of any faith are free to visit the temple and pray or meditate. Around the blooming petals there are nine pools of water, which light up, in natural light. It looks spectacular at dusk when it is flood lit.
India Gate - At the centre of New Delhi stands the 42 m high India Gate, an "Arc-de-Triomphe" like archway in the middle of a crossroad. Almost similar to its French counterpart, it commemorates the 70,000 Indian soldiers who lost their lives fighting for the British Army during the World War I. The memorial bears the names of more than 13,516 British and Indian soldiers killed in the Northwestern Frontier in the Afghan war of 1919.
The Parliament house is a cirular colonnaded building . It also houses ministerial offices,numerous committee rooms and an excellent library as well. Conceived in the Imperial Style, the Parliament House consists of an open verandah with 144 columns. Qutab Minar is a soaring, 73 m-high tower of victory, built in 1193 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak immediately after the defeat of Delhi's last Hindu kingdom. The tower has five distinct storeys, each marked by a projecting balcony and tapers from a 15 m diameter at the base to just 2.5 m at the top. The first three storeys are made of red sandstone; the fourth and fifth storeys are of marble and sandstone. At the foot of the tower is the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, the first mosque to be built in India
After breakfast, leave for Jaipur. On arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride from the foothills of the Aravallis to the fort entrance.
Amber Fort : At a distance of 11 kms from Jaipur, Amber was the ancient capital of Jaipur state. Construction of the fort began in 1592 by Raja Man Singh, the Rajput commander of Akbar's army and is a superb example of Rajput architecture.
Afternoon, city tour of Jaipur. Visit the City Palace which has museum having an extensive collection of art, carpets, enamel ware and weapons also visit Jantar Mantar - the observatory built my Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728 and the fa莽ade of Hawa Mahal.
After breakfast, leave for Agra. Enroute visit the abandoned Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri : built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, was the old capital of the Moghuls, which was abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal & other Palaces which are still preserved in its original glory. Continue drive to Agra. Arrive Agra in the evening and checkin at hotel.
After breakfast, city tour of Agra. Visit Red fort, which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565, and additions were made up until the time of his grandson, Shah Jahan. It contains the hall of public and private audiences amongst many other beautiful structures; the highlight of the day - The Taj Mahal, which was constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of the Taj began in 1631 and was not completed until 1653.
Afternoon, leave for Unchagaon. Arrive Unchangaon and check in at Fort Unchagaon - The Fort Unchangaon stands tall as an ideal gateway to Uttaranchal. 魅影直播 to the Jat rulers who rose in prominence during the decline of Mugal Empire, it was originally made of mud, but its walls were late replaced by brick and old building inside the fort was totally renovated during the 1930's to give it a distinctly colonial look.
Morning free at leisure. In the afternoon, leave for Jim Corbett National Park. On arrival check in at the wildlife resorts. Overnight at resort.
