Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi

  After arrival at Delhi Airport, meet our Colorful Tours Trekking Adventure representative who’ll escort you to one of our listed hotels in Delhi. Check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is to be spent at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 2 : Delhi – Agra

  The next morning after breakfast, move out on a city tour of Delhi. The major tourist attractions of Delhi include the Birla Mandir, Qutab Minar, Red Fort, India Gate, the Jama Masjid, Humanyun Tomb, and President’s House. In the evening drive towards Agra. As you reach Agra, check-in at one of our listed hotels. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Agra – Lucknow

  In the morning after breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Agra covering places like Agra Fort, Itmad-ud-Daula’s Tomb and Taj Mahal that has left tourists spellbound by its beauty. Taj Mahal, the seventh wonder of the world was commissioned by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. After lunch proceeds on a guided tour of Agra Fort and the Palace of Jodha Bai. Later in the day visit the Itmad-ud-Daula’s Tomb. In the evening get transferred to Agra railway station to board an overnight train to Lucknow.

• Day 4 : Lucknow – Shravasti

  The next day in the morning post breakfast, leave for the Shravasti city. It is a land associated with the life of Lord Buddha as it is the place where spent 24 monsoons of his life. As you reach Shravasti, check-in at one of our listed hotels. In the afternoon set out to visit some of the major attractions of Shravasti covering the ruins and relics of Jain and Buddhist temples, forts and stupas. Also, visit the Ananda Bodhi Tree and the Jetavana Monastery. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

  Take breakfast at the hotel. Set out for the guided sightseeing tour covering places like Mahaparinirvana Temple & Stupas. Later in the day start for Lumbini-the the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Check-in at the upon arrival in Lumbini. In the evening pay a visit to the Birth Place of Lord Buddha and the Maya Devi temple. Retire for the night at the hotel.

  After breakfast, drive down to Bodhgaya. Place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. On the way visit Nalanda & Rajgir. As you reach Bodhgaya, check-in at one of our enlisted hotels. Rest and relax till afternoon. In the afternoon after lunch embarks on a visit to Niranjana River and the Sujata village. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 9 : Bodhgaya

  The next morning after breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Bodhgaya. Visit the major tourist attractions like Mahabodhi temple, the Vishnupad Mandir and the Bodhi tree. In the evening relax at the bank of Niranjana River. Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 10 : Bodhgaya – Varanasi

  The next morning enjoy the boat ride in the holy river Ganges on a visit to bathing ghats. After breakfast, set off for an excursion to Sarnath, the buried Buddhist city. Pay a visit to the Stupa, the Buddhist temple and the Museum. Later in the day enjoy a City tour of Varanasi which would cover places like the Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Banaras Hindu University for visiting the Art Gallery and the Mosque of Mughal Emperor Aurangazeb.   Today start your day early, to enjoy a boat ride on river Ganges. Return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, transfer to Varanasi railway station to board the train to Delhi. Overnight on the train.
