Endless edge lines, sprawling Bugiyals, High height lakes, lofty pinnacle perspectives and snow on the trail make Brahma Tal Trek a convincing recommendation for a winter trek.



Brahma Tal is a covered up and segregated lake in the midst of the edge, where Lord Brahma reflected by folklore. The pinnacle see from the course is charming; from east to west one can see the High Himalayan extents. From appropriate to left on one side we can see Mrigthuni, Trishul, Bethartoli Himal and Nandaghunti. On the opposite side we can see the enormous Chaukhamba, Nilkanth, Kamet, Hathi and Ghoda tops. This is the polar opposite edge of the renowned Roopkund trek and offers a 10,000 foot perspective of the course including Ali Bugiyal, Bedni Bugiyal, Roopkund and Junargali.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : From Kathgodam to Loharjung (215 Kms)

  Touch base at Kathgodam railroad station and drive to Loharjung which will take roughly 8 to 9 hours. The course will go through a few delightful slope stations like Bhimtal, Almora, Kausani and Baijnath. You can enjoy a reprieve at Kausani to absorb the excellence of the Himalayan extents. A few pinnacles such Mt. Kamet with Ghori Parvat, Hathi Peak, Nandaghunti, Trishul, Mrigthuni , Maiktoli, Nanda Devi till Panchachuli gathering can be spotted from here. By the end of the day you come to the wonderful basecamp for this lovely trek to Brahma Tal called Loharjung. Medium-term stay and supper here.
• Day 2 : From Loharjung to Bekaltal (7611 – 9875 ft. 6KM)

  We begin our delightful trek from today as we move steadily upwards through the timberlands lined by a couple of mountain houses. The present trek will take around 4 to 5 hours to achieve our campground close to a quiet lake called Bekal Tal. The region is encompassed with thick oak woods and in winter the lake will be totally solidified.
• Day 3 : Bekaltal to Khabekhal (or Brahmatal) (9875 – 10738 ft. 2.5KM)

  Today as we continue assist through thick oak timberlands for a consistent hour or so took after by a lofty plummet, we will achieve the present campground Khabekhal. Anyway in winters snowfall may happen whenever and relying upon snow conditions, it may take more time to achieve the goal.
• Day 4 : Khabekhal to Daldum through Brahmatal top (12618 ft.) (10728 – 9350 ft. 5 KM)

  The present plan will be to move to Brahma Tal and return back to campground. The time taken to achieve the summit is around 2.5 to 3 hours. The trail took after is a stunning course sandwiched between two valleys on either side. It offers stunning perspectives of the forceful Himalayas particularly Trishul and Nandaghunti.

• Day 5 : From Daldum to Loharjung (9350 – 7627 ft. 3.7 KM)

  Today we will set ourselves up for drop back to Loharjung through the same forested trails going by a few mountain towns on the slants.
• Day 6 : From Loharjung to Kathgodam

  Today we leave from Loharjung to Kathgodam for the adventure back home.(own transport).
