Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guwahati – Tezpur

  Arrive Guwahati and transfer to Tezpur , Situated on the bank of Brahmaputra River, adorned by lush green hills and hillocks. Procced to your hotel and rest of the day is spent at leisure followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
• Day 2 : Tezpur – Dirang

  Drive to Dirang, an ideal getaway in West Kameng district with beautiful apple orchards and sheep breeding farms. Proceed to your hotel. Rest of the day is spent at leisure to explore the local market followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
• Day 3 : Dirang – Tawang

  Today you will drive to Tawang, situated at an altitude of 12000 ft above sea level, is the land of the Monpa tribes and a major centre of the Mahayana Buddhists. Enroute you will visit Sella Pass at an altitude of 13,700 feet, also visit the Dzong waterfall. This is further followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
• Day 4 : Tawang

  Today you will visit most famous 400 year old Buddhist monastery, one of the biggest in India known for its interesting collection of Thangkas (Tibtean Paintings on cloth), also visit the Tawang Monastery known as ‘Golden Namgyal Lhaste’. Rest of the day is spent at leisure followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 5 : Tawang – Bomdila

  Early this morning you will drive to Bomdila, perched amongst the panoramic settings of the lofty ranges of the eastern Himalayas also known for its Buddhist monasteries and apple orchids followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
• Day 6 : Bomdila – Nameri

  This morning you will visit the Craft Center, producing fine carpets of colourful designs masks and Buddhist monastery. Later drive to Nameri National Park, located at the foothills of eastern Himalayas covering an area of about 200 sq. kms. Arrive and proceed to your Eco Camp, overnight at the Camp.

• Day 7 : Nameri – Kaziranga

  This morning enjoy a floating ride on a barge to Jia Bhoroli with a picnic lunch. In the evening you will be transferred to Kaziranga National Park followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 8 : Kaziranga

  Early morning enjoy a elephant safari to view the exotic wild life and the Single horn Rhinoceros. You will also have an opportunity to take on a Jeep safari to experience some more exotic wild life and flora and fauna followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 9 : Kaziranga – Guwahati

  After an early breakfast you will be taken to Guwahati airport/railway staion for your journey onward.
