Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival

Our tour begins from reaching Khajuraho. Khajuraho has flight connectivity with Varanasi & Delhi. By train, you can reach Khajuraho railway station (5Kms), Satna station (135kms) & Jhansi railway station (200kms). On reaching Khajuraho, transfer to hotel. As per available time visit Western & Eastern group of temples. In evening, you can attend light & sound show.

Day 2 : Bandhavgarh.

In this day, do some local visit and later drive to Bandhavgarh (250kms/05:30hrs). On the way to Bandhavgarh, we will pass through Panna national park forest. On reaching Bandhavgarh, relax at resort.
Overnight at resort in Bandhavgarh.
Day 3 : Bandhavgarh

Do morning & evening safari in Bandhavgarh. It is popular forest for tiger sightseeing, as tiger density of this forest is good which increases the sighting probability. Till 1968, it was private hunting reserve of royal Baghel rulers. For jungle safari, separate open jeep is used which picks & drop guest from/to their resort. During jungle safari, follow the rules in consultation with safari guide. Here Forest composition includes Sal, Saja, Bamboo, Mahua, Teak etc.
Overnight at resort in Bandhavgarh.
Day 4 : Kanha National Park.

Do morning safari as last one in Bandhavgarh. Forest of Bandhavgarh is spread on Vindhyachal hills. Here fort is located on hill-top known by the name of Bandhavgarh. Given time-frame is not enough to understand the complete forest but considering the safari cost and available time, it is good enough. Now, after having lunch, drive to Kanha national park so that we can reach their before sunset. On reaching Kanha, retire to your room.

Day 5 : Kanha national park.

In this day, attend both morning & evening safari. Kanha forest is different from Bandhavgarh. It is located in Satpura hills with high percentage of Sal trees. Similarly mammals diversity of Kanha is also good like Barasingha, Dholes, Indian Gaur, Leopard etc can be seen more frequently than Bandhavgarh. Here landscapes are also mixed with plains, meadows, valley, plateau etc. Here also forest is divided into zones and one zone at a safari can be visited.

Day 6 : Jabalpur

Do morning safari as last one in Kanha forest. Later in afternoon, drive to Jabalpur city. Do some local city tour. As per available time, you can opt to visit Kachnar city temple, Rani Durgavati museum etc.
Overnight at hotel in Jabalpur.

Day 7 : Departure

On this day, visit Bhedaghat and enjoy boating. Later drop to Jabalpur airport/railway station for departure.
