Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Chennai

  On arrival at Chennai’s Anna international airport and drive to hotel for fresh up and the rest of the day is at leisure. Get back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Chennai

  Up and early take a walk around the famous Kapaleswarar temple at Mylapore and Parthasarathy temple at Triplicane, important landmarks of Chennai. One can see the Kolam (Rangoli) auspicious symbols made in front of the house by rice flour, milking of the cows in front of the houses and also can hear chanting of holy hymns and enjoy the morning fragrance from the temples and the aroma of the authentic filter coffee. Later visit the museum and famous Santhome church (St. Thomas one of the twelve apostles) late in the evening take a stroll at the Marina beach and retire back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Mamallapuram

  After early breakfast drive to Mamallapuram the 7th century port city of the South Indian dynasty reigned by the Pallava. The Rathas (temples in the form of chariots), Mandapas (cave sanctuaries), Giant open air rock reliefs such as the famous Descent of the Ganges, and the Shore Temple, with thousands of sculptures to the glory of Lord Shiva will bring to life pages of history. The Group of Monuments at Mamallapuram has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Late evening could be spent taking a stroll at the beaches adorned by the kings and return to resort for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Pondichery

  After early breakfast drive to Pondicherry to visit the Auroville an ideal township devoted to an experiment in human unity - an idea that came to Mother as early as the 1930s. After a brief visit we drive to Aurobindo Ashram and retire back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

  After an early breakfast start drive to Hogenakal and check into resort for dinner and overnight stay.

  Hogenakal referred as the Niagara of India is picturesque waterfalls that have variety offerings like the Parisal (Thatch boat) ride, Bathing at the falls, Spa, Massages and fishing and live fish counters. After relaxing, rejuvenation at the outdoors, retire back at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Hogenakal.

• Day 7 : Ooty

  After early breakfast drive to Mettupalayam, to board the Nilgiri Mountain Train – a UNESCO world Heritage Site. Enjoy crawling through the winding Western Ghats ravishing beauty and check into farm stay for dinner and overnight stay at Ooty.

  After early breakfast enjoy the local sightseeing points - Dodabetta, Botanical Gardens, Pykkara, Rose Garden, Ketti Valley, and retire back to the farm house to enjoy dinner and stay overnight.

  After early breakfast drive to Coonoor to visit Sims Park, Dolphin Nose, Tea estate and drive to Ooty. After lunch drive enjoy boating by the setting sun at Ooty’s lake.

  After early breakfast check out and drive to Mudumalai National Park. Visit the Theppakadu Elephant camp and gear up for an adventurous night safari in the evening. Return back to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.
