Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Zurich - Interlaken

  Arrive at Zurich Airport and board a train to Interlaken, which is located between Thun and Brienz lakes, and is one of the oldest and most popular resorts in Switzerland. After arriving at Interlaken, head to the hotel on your own. Spend the day on your own - enjoy the splendid sights of this quaint town. In the evening, you can go for a cruise in Lake Brienz, savor the fascinating vistas of majestic mountains, Giessbach Falls, and traditional chalets on the slopes. Try the delicious Indian specialties at the small buffet on board. Return to the hotel and stay overnight.

• Day 2 : Interlaken

  Start Day-2 of your Switzerland and France holiday tour with a journey to Europe鈥檚 highest railway station Jungfraujoch, dubbed as the 鈥淭op of Europe鈥� because of its elevation of 11,333 feet. A cogwheel train will take you through the stunning snow-covered landscapes including the incredible Eiger North Face. You will also explore the Ice Palace and revel in the awe-inspiring panoramic views from the Sphinx Observation Terrace. The Terrace overlooks the marvelous mountains of neighboring nations along with the Aletsch Glacier, which is the longest glacier in Europe. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

  Post breakfast, reach the train station on your own and board the Golden Pass Panoramic train to Lucerne, an incredibly beautiful city in Switzerland. Surrounded by tall Alps, this stunning city is located on the northern bank of the wonderful Lake Lucerne. Upon arrival, go to the hotel on your own and spend the evening at leisure. Rest at the hotel overnight.

  Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Then, you will take a tour to the Mt. Pilatus and bask in the mesmerizing panoramic views of the Lucerne city, stunning lakes, and snow-covered Swiss Alps from the 7,000-feet summit of this mountain. To reach the summit, you can take either a gondola and cable car ride or a cogwheel train, which is the steepest in the world. You can also opt for the Golden Roundtrip including a lake cruise and excursion to some beautiful places around. Return back to the hotel and luxuriate in an overnight stay.

  Begin this day of your Switzerland and France holiday tour with a delectable breakfast at the hotel. Start off to the train station (on your own) to board a train to Zurich Airport. Upon arrival, board a connecting train for Paris. Head to the hotel on your own after arriving at Paris. Spend the evening at leisure and laze off at the hotel overnight.

  After breakfast at the hotel, learn about the French history on the Seine Cruise followed by a visit to the Eiffel tower. Proceed to the Place de la Concorde - a public square, Avenue des Champs Elysees, an expensive street with cafes, and the Arc de Triomphe. Go on a one hour tour on the Seine River in a cruise ship after visiting the second largest park in Paris, Bois de Boulogne near a posh residential area. In the end, enjoy the beautiful and panoramic view of whole of Paris from the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

  This morning after breakfast at the hotel, discover Paris. This tour will take you around all the main monuments of Paris. First discover the Louvre Museum, then pass by the Island of the City and see the famous Cathedral of Notre Dame. We continue to the prestigious Sorbonne University and the Pantheon. St. Germains des Pres and the Orsay Museum will also be part of the itinerary. Of course this tour would not be complete without a ride down the Champs Elysees and up to the Arc de Triumph. The Eiffel Tower will be the next famous sight and the last part of this small journey will include the Invalids, Place de la Concorde, the Madeleine and the Opera. Overnight stay at the hotel.
