Package Overview

In Sintra you’ll be able to see historical monuments that fit perfectly with the Nature which is full of small charms.

This village was the place of inspiration for Kings, Poets and renowned writers. With its microclimate and peculiar vegetation, it’s become a privileged space for artistic creation. And there are some Castles and Palaces worthy of a fantastic tale. For this reason it’s designation of World Heritage by UNESCO History.

Our journey will begin in the hotel towards Sintra. Once we arrive we will visit the Pena Palace.

Then, we will go to the village center to make a tour where you can see Sintra’s Natiional Palace or take a walk through the village where you’ll find many old houses transformed into shops and bakeries. To highlight the regional village candy we can visit the ‘Periquita’. If you prefer we can go instead to Quinta da Regaleira for a visit to one of the most extraordinary monuments and gardens already noted.

When returning, we will pass by westernmost point of Europe (Cabo da Roca) and we will go through Cascais to see the coast and its magnificent beaches and landscapes when going back to the Hotel / Harbour and traveling.

If we have time, we may pass by Belem Tower and Jeronimos Monastery (icons of the Discoveries Season).
