Package Overview

This road trip tour starts from Darjeeling where you land at Bagdogra Airport. After spending a day at Darjeeling we head from Darjeeling to Gangtok in Sikkim via Pelling where our tour of Sikkim begins.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Darjeeling

  After arrival meet & greet at IXB & transfer to Darjeeling (5,480 ft.). On arrival check-in to hotel. Evening free at leisure / you can visit MG Marg on your own. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
• Day 2 : Darjeeling Sightseeing

  Early Morning (at 04.00 am) visit Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. worlds third highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop.After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P. N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Ava Art Gallery, Tea Garden (outer view), Peace Pagoda and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs). Evening free for shopping & leisure. Night stay at Darjeeling.

• Day 3 : Darjeeling - Pelling

  After breakfast check out from hotel & proceed for Pelling. Check in & rest. In the evening you can visit local market or nearby area (at your own). Overnight at hotel.
• Day 4 : Pelling Sightseeing + Gangtok

  After breakfast starts for sightseeing and visit Khangchendzongha waterfalls, Sewaro Rock Garden, Rimbi water Falls, Khachoedpalri Lake, Rabdentse Ruins, and Pemayangtse Monastery. Then transfer to Gangtok. Check into the hotel. In evening you can visit local market or nearby area by own...Overnight stay will be at Gangtok.

  • Hotspots Pemayangtse Monastery
• Day 5 : Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir and Nathula Excursion

  After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. You will also visit the border post of India and China at Nathula. Evening back to the hotel & after dinner overnight stay in Gangtok hotel.
  
  ** For Nathula: Please carry an ID & address proof along with 3 copies of latest passport size photograph of each member
• Day 6 : Gangtok - Lachen

  After breakfast pick up at 09:00 A.M from hotel at Gangtok & start for Lachen (altitude 8610 ft.) a beautiful small village. En route photo stop at Singhik View Point, Seven Sisters falls, Naga Falls, Bhim Nala. Evening free at leisure. Night stay at Lachen.
• Day 7 : Lachen - Gurudongmar Excursion - Lachung

  You will start early morning for Gurudongmar Lake. Enroute you will stop at Thangu Valley to marvel over its beauty and some pictures. After noon transfer to the Lachung. Overnight stay in room.

• Day 8 : Yumthang - Gangtok

  Early Morning after breakfast drive for 24 km to Yumthang-valley (known as Valley of Flowers). From there you will be taken to the lesser visited Yumisamdong Valley passing through one of the most beautiful scenic drive of the region. On the way back visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to the hotel & after lunch transfer to Gangtok. On arrive check in hotel & after dinner overnight stay in room.

  • Themes Hill Stations & Valleys
• Day 9 : Gangtok - IXB

  After breakfast transfer to IXB for your onward journey.
