Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guwahati To Shillong

  Welcome on arrival in Guwahati and transfer to Shillong. Enroute visit BorapaniLake. UmiamLake or Barapani is the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya. It offers an incredible experience of sailing, water skiing, water scooter and other water sports activities in midst of sylvan hills adorned by Khasi pines and peerless beauty. Enjoy water activities in Barapani lake activities at additional expenses. Overnight in Shillong.

• Day 2 : Shillong to Mwallynong to Dawki to Shillong

  After breakfast proceed to visit Mawlynnong the cleanest village in Asia. The main attractions are Living Root Bridge and Balancing rock. After lunch proceed to Dawki. Dawki is a small town in Jaintia Hills district. The main attraction is the Umngot river. Dawki is known for Indo-Bangladesh border. Evening back to Shillong. Overnight stay at hotel in Shillong.
  Note: It is advisable to carry have packed lunch to Mwallynong.Day at leisure. Overnight in Shillong.
• Day 3 : Shillong To Kaziranga

  Take a half day city tour of Shillong. Shillong The 鈥楪leneagle of the East lies in the centre of a plateau surrounded by聽 Khasi hills.The gorgeous city offers amazing tourist spots. The city鈥檚 own Ward Lake is popular for short garden walks & boating. The Botanical Garden offers plethora of indigenous and exotic plants and rare collection of orchids. ButterflyMuseum is a storehouse of finest and rarest species of butterflies and moths. LadyHydariPark is a Japanese style landscaped park endowed with streaches of roses and exquisite flowers.The Mini zoo adjacent to the park has about 73 birds, 140 reptiles & mammals. One of the largest Golf courses in Asia is an 18 hole Golf Course is charted amidst a surging valley full of thick pine groves rhododendron trees. Spend the evening in the splendid arena The StateMuseum is a display of the lifestyle and heritage of the people of Meghalaya. Shillong and its surrounding is dotted with splendid waterfalls cascading down deep valleys forming misty sparks as they break the silence of the surroundings. ElephantFalls is a mountain stream gorging down two successive falls set in dells of fern covered rocks Later drive to Kaziranga. Overnight in Kaziranga.

• Day 4 : Kaziranga

  Today you will go for safaris and elephant ride inside the national park. Early morning go for an Elephant ride timing 5 00 AM 06 00 AM 7 00 AM then return back to the lodge and after breakfast go for a Jeep Safari timing 8 00 AM 9 00 AM for 03 hrs, after the safari come back to lodge. After lunch and refreshment go for another Jeep Safari in the Western or Central range of the park timing 2 00AM 3 00 AM for 02 half hrs also depending on the sunset as in winters the sun sets early in Northeast India, evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
• Day 5 : Kaziranga

  Today after an early breakfast we drive to the Eastern Range of the park for a jeep safari 21 kms approx for 3 hrs inside the forest, return back to lodge and after lunch and refreshment go for the last round of jeep safari in Kaziranga in the Central Range of the park. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga
• Day 6 : Kaziranga To Guwahati

  After breakfast proceed to Guwahati Airport to take your flight. Today visit Kamkhya Madir, Navgrah Mandir, etc
