Rishikesh is renowned for its mastery in 鈥榊oga鈥� which is located in northern state of Uttarakhand. It was a city with full of ashrams, temples, and also well-known for various adventurous activities such as trekking, rafting, camping, bungee jumping, attracting thousands of visitors every year. Infact, the city is also called as 鈥榃hite rafting capital of India鈥� due to the glorious river 鈥楪anges鈥� that flow rapidly throughout the city.

Rishikesh, a gateway of Char Dum conducts an international Yoga festival every year in the month of March. There was one belief among people that meditation in Rishikesh gives 鈥楳oksha鈥�.
