Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Udaipur

  Post your morning arrival at Udaipur Airport / Railway Station, you will be warmly welcomed by Footloose Holidays Representative and escorted to your pre-booked hotel. Check in at the hotel and freshen up. Take a short rest before you venture out to explore this beautiful city also known as City Of Lakes. Any city is identified by its monuments which have been witness to its rich and eventful past and Udaipur is no different. In order to know this city, it is mandatory to visit City Palace, an impressive structure displaying flamboyant architecture. Another ‘not to miss’ place is Crystal Gallery, the world’s single largest private collection of crystal under one roof which is going to leave you spellbound. Enjoy the view of pristine Lake Pichola, giving you an impression of being in Venice when you take a boat ride in it. By evening, come back to hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Udaipur – Jodhpur (250km/4.30 hrs)

  Enjoy your early morning breakfast at the hotel and proceed for sightseeing of rest of the fascinating places at Udaipur which includes Jagdish Temple, a large Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Also visit Saheliyon Ki Bari which literally means courtyard of maidens, has a beautiful garden truly personifying the vivaciousness of the maidens holding a promise of refreshing its visitors. Post lunch, it is time to drive to Jodhpur, the second biggest city of the desert state Rajasthan. Check in at the hotel pre-booked for you and enjoy the hospitality of Rajasthan with a sumptuous meal and overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 3 : Jodhpur – Sam Dunes (321km/5.30hrs)

  After an early breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of the Blue City. Visit Umaid Bhawan Palace, a magnificent structure where the present Royal family of Jodhpur resides and a part of it has a beautiful museum which gives one an insight into the history of the Royal family. A tourist delight, that is what Mehrangarh Fort is. Situated 400 feet (122 m) above the city, the fort stands tall with pride and dignity narrating the saga of valour and a distinct culture. Next, an amazing mausoleum awaits you in the form of Jaswant Thada, an architectural marvel, this cenotaph in white marble was built by Sardar Singh in 1899 in memory of his father Maharaja Jaswant Singh ll. Post lunch, time to begin another journey leading to Sun City, Jaisalmer, located deep inside the Thar Desert and not far from there, you get to witness the towering Sam sand Dunes, casting a spell on you. Here you can enjoy the camel safari, cultural programs along with the dinner. What could be more enjoyable and romantic than spending a night at the Desert Camp surrounded by the sand dunes?

• Day 4 : Sam Dunes – Bikaner (365km/5.30hrs)

  Next morning, enjoy the feel of being in the desert while relishing your delicious breakfast at the tent in Sam Dunes and then embark on sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer where Jaisalmer Fort which has defied the test of time, awaits you with many stories to share. Also visit Patwon Ki Haveli, another formidable structure actually comprising of five havelis. After lunch at Jaisalmer, you will be driven to Bikaner, another city surrounded by Thar Desert, displaying its richness in its simplicity. On arrival, check in at the hotel for night stay.

• Day 5 : Bikaner – Jaipur

  Post a hearty breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Bikaner, also known as The Camel City. Sightseeing tour covers Junagadh Fort, the impressive and imposing structure which shows signs of strength and power of its rulers. Each and every part of this Fort will leave you mesmerised with not only the intricately built structure but also an aesthetic appeal which adds to its beauty. Later, it is time to drive to Jaipur, the state capital, also known as Pink City. Check in at the pre-booked hotel for the overnight stay.

  Enjoy your morning meal in this beautiful city which holds a number of surprises for you. Now it is time to explore and enjoy each and every facet of Jaipur. Proceed for the sightseeing of those monuments which have given Jaipur its unique entity. Begin with Hawa Mahal – the world famous landmark of Jaipur and then proceed to City Palace, still a residence for the present royal family and also housing a museum, displaying the way of life of the former Rajput rulers. The architecture is an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal art. Visit a scientific marvel, Jantar Mantar which is an astronomical observatory, displaying 19 astronomical instruments built to stimulate interest in astronomy. Don’t miss out on enjoying a few specialities of the eat street of Jaipur as you would find flavours of Rajasthan here. Come back to the hotel as this much needed comfortable overnight rest awaits you to rejuvenate your tired but excited self.

• Day 7 : Jaipur Drop

  Next morning wake up to enjoy a lavish and relaxed breakfast and then proceed for a visit to Amber Fort which remains the most impressive of all the forts witnessed by you. It seems as if someone has painted the incredible structure on a canvas to perfection. Before leaving Jaipur, drive down and take a short picture clicking stop at Jal Mahal, a palace located in the middle of a lake, followed by local market visit and shopping for jewellery, apparels and mojris which are exclusive and cannot be ignored. The bazaars of Jaipur are going to add to your excitement and happiness as they display a vibrant mood of chirpiness and cheerfulness.
