Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival

On your arrival in Amritsar, meet our representative and get transferred to the hotel. Later, freshen up and leave for Harmandir Sahib, popularly known as the Golden Temple. In the evening, you are free to spend the time at your leisure. You can try out Amritsari Naan which can be found in the local dhabas and restaurants. Overnight stay.

Day 2 : Amritsar

After breakfast, visit Jallianwallah Bagh. This historical area is known for the massacre commissioned by General Dyer, during the British Rule. In the evening, visit Wagah border. The guard changing ceremony every evening in the India- Pakistan border is the highlight of the area. By late evening, you return to the hotel room for overnight stay.
Day 3 : Wagah Border

The Wagah border is a post between India and Pakistan. It has become famous for the beating the retreat ceremony which includes the closing of international gates and the lowering of the flags of both the countries. Around 5000 people visit the Wagah border, which has become very popular among tourists all over the world.

The flag code of India mandates that the national flag shall be flown only from sunrise to sunset. It is an entertainment ceremony and a highly stylized patriotic display as well as an energetic performance. The guards who perform are chosen carefully among those who have great height, ability to perform and imposing stature.

People from both the sides watch the ceremony. The crowd on weekends is heavy and people watch it from the stands.

There are certain things that one should remember while visiting Wagah border. There are jammers here so no mobile phone service is available here. No covered bags are allowed, including ladies handbags or purses. There are stalls nearby,to buy food and bottled water.
Day 4 : Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to shop in the local markets. Later get transferred to the railway station to catch the train back home.

Excellent Tour with Ram!!! We spent 5 days with with Ram,and it was excellent!He picked us up in New Delhi,where he showed us everything atound Delhi,we wanted to see,took us like father and showed us real side of Delhi.After Delhi we traveled with him to Rajastan.Frist we visited Pushkar,and drive from Delhi to Pushkar was excellent,we felt really safe driving with him.He also showed us everything along the way,and was excellent guide!After Pushkar he drove us to Jaipur,where he took us sightseeing,and everything was perfectly organized,so we didn鈥檛 have to worry about anything.Than after Jaipur he drove us to Agra,again with excellent and safe drive,where we parted with him which was really sad because he became our true friend!We highly recommend Ram,and we give h excellent 5 stars!
