Panch Kedar means five ancient Temples of Lord Shiva situated in high altitudes can be access only through trek, myth relates to Pandava when they were searching for Lord Shiva & Lord Shiva converted himself to Buffalo. Its very difficult to recognize Shiva for Pandas then Bheem kept his leg in two point and Buffolos were passing one by one under it when Shiva reached there in form of Buffalo & undergrounder himself from there & appeared his parts of body in different places so those places known as Panch Kedar (Kedarnath, Rudranath, Tungnath, Madmaheswar, & Kalpeswer). Tungnath is the highest temple of Lord Shiva in the world at an altitude of 3680 m above sea level.Panch kedar is famous for trekkers as well as Devotees, covers many beautiful destinations, Rivers, Valley, Waterfalls, Cultural & Remote villages, Flora & Fauna,Animals, Birds, Meadow. Panch Kedar attracts every year many people like Trekkers, Devotees, Photographed & Birdwatchers.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Rishikesh to Gaurikund

  Rishikesh to Gaurikund - We will start our trekking programme from kedarnath, Morning we will pick up you from Rishikesh & depart to Garikund along with sideby side of the Ganga, Alanknanda & Mandakini river. Night stay in Gurikund.

• Day 2 : Gaurikund to Kedarnath – 16 km

  Treks starts today after Breakfast trek to Kedarnath a holy place of lord Shiva, one of the Kedar in Panch Kedar & one of the Dham in Chardham in lap of Himalaya & bank of Mandakini river. Gaurikund to Kedarnath trek route is well marked & maintained , every year many devotees & trekkers visit Kedarnath shrine, after arriving there visit Kedarnath Temple & night stay in Kedarnath.
• Day 3 : Kedarnath to Kalimath - 30 km

• Day 4 : Kalimath to Ransi
