The Cederberg Mountains form a section of the Cape Fold Belt range which comprises mineral organic rock fragment strata buried below the earth鈥檚 crust. Adventure Tours Cape Town offers a Scenic Cederberg Explorer tour of the picturesque Cederberg Mountains.

You will be collected in Cape Town visit !Khwa ttu where a San advisor will guide you an exact copy of a typical san village as well as a photo exhibition. We then depart to the Cederberg and upon arrival we will take a short hike to view the waterfall. Evening sees your guide preparing a typical South African braai or barbecue all under an amazing star studded sky.

Day 2 we view historical rock paintings done by die Khoi-San, these paintings depicting eland and elephant roaming the Cederberg is proof of early human habitation dating back 6 000 years ago. The Stadsaal Caves are a composition of inter-joined caverns all enveloped by terra-cotta coloured rock compilations, ranging from even to grooved, jagged to smooth. We say 鈥渁u revoir鈥� to the mountains and head back to Cape Town.
