Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Patna – Kushinagar (2 nights)

  Welcome to Patna, an ancient city that sprawls along the south bank of the Ganges River and proceed to Kushinagar. It is an important Buddhist pilgrimage site, where Buddhists believe Gautama Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana after his death. Overnight at hotel in Kushinagar.

• Day 2 : Kushinagar

  Today we visit Ramabhar stupa - the cremation place of Buddha, Japanese mandir also known as the Golden Temple by locals. Later we visit Mahanirvana Stupa and the statue of the reclining Buddha. The main Stupa is built on a single platform which measures 2.74m in height including the shrine in front. Then we proceed to Wat Thai temple which is one of the famous temples in Indian sub continent. This temple was built in order to commemorate the golden jubilee celebrations of King Bhumibol’s accession to the throne of Thailand. Overnight at hotel in Kushinagar.

• Day 3 : Kushinagar – Patna (1 night)

  Today we proceed back to Patna, en route stop at Vaishali here we visit Licchavi stupa, historic Ashoka pillar - 2300 years old architectural marvel, Vaishali Museum which showcases prized possessions of a Buddha sculpture belonging to Pala period and World peace pagoda. Later in the evening arrive at Patna. Overnight at hotel in Patna.

• Day 4 : Patna – Bodhgaya (2 nights)

  Today we proceed to Bodhgaya, en route we visit Vishwashanti stupa at Rajgir- Located On A 400 Metre High Hill & Nalanda university. Later we visit Vishnupad temple at Gaya which is believed to feature a 40-cm-long footprint of Lord Vishnu in a basalt rock. In the evening arrival at Bodhgaya. Overnight at hotel in Bodhgaya.

• Day 5 : Bodhgaya

  Today visit Mahabodhi temple - one of the four holy sites related to the life of the Lord Buddha, Great Buddha Statue, Indosan Nippon Japanese which is beautifully carved out of wood and Thai Monastery. Evening is free for shopping at Tibetan Refugee market. Overnight at hotel in Bodhgaya.

• Day 6 : Bodhgaya – Deoghar (1 night)

  Today proceed to Deoghar(264 Km), literal meaning of ‘Deoghar’ is abode (‘ghar’) of the Gods and Goddesses (‘dev’). Upon arrival we visit Baba Baidyanath Temple- one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Deoghar.

• Day 7 : Deoghar – Patna (1 night)

  Today we proceed back to Patna (249 km), upon arrival visit Golghar , from the top of the structure once can see panoramic views of the city and Ganga river, photo stop at Sabhyata Dwar. Later proceed for shopping at Patna Market. Overnight at hotel in Patna.
