Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Bagdogra & Bagdogra - Gangtok (130 kms / approx 5 hrs drive)

  Meeting & assistance on arrival at Bagdogra airport & transfer to Gangtok. At an altitude of 5500ft Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. On arrival, check in at hotel. Evening free for individual activity & leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 2 : Gangtok

  After breakfast, proceed for the excursion to Tshangu Lake (12400 Ft / 3780 Mts / 43 kms in 3 hrs one way from Gangtok) & Baba Mandir (13100Ft / 3994 Mts / 16 kms in 1 hr one way from Tshangu Lake) (no entry for foreigner national, they are allowed to visit till Tshangu Lake, with a valid permit. They also have to be 02 & above is number to visit Tshangu Lake). Situated at a height of 1240 0Ft / 3780 Mts / 43 kms in 3 hrs one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. In case of Landslide or due to any other reasons if Tshangu Lake is closed then an alternate sightseeing will be provided. Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 3 : Gangtok - Pelling (116 kms / approx 5 - 6 hrs drive)

  After breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed for half day sightseeing tour of Gangtok covering Jhakri Water Falls along with Droul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Sunday) and Flower Show. Afternoon transfer to Pelling (6100 Ft / 1860 Mts). On arrival, check in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 4 : Pelling - Excursion to Yuksom (35 kms / approx 2 hrs drive one way)

  After breakfast proceed for the excursion to Yuksom (5840 Ft / 1780 Mts) on way panoramic sightseeing of Darap Village, Rimbi Water fall & Hydro Project, Khecheopalri Lake (6000 Ft / 1829 Mts), it is one of the sacred Buddhist mountain lake and it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake comes true. Myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird & Kanchanjunga Water fall. A further drive takes you to Yuksom (the meeting place of three monks) - the first capital of Sikkim. This was the place where the first Chogyal (a ruling dynasty in Sikkim) was crowned. Evening return back to Pelling. On arrival, check in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 5 : Pelling - Kalimpong (115 kms / approx 5 hrs drive)

  After breakfast, check out from the hotel & transfer for Kalimpong (3937 Ft / 1200 Mts). Overnight stay at hotel. Evening free for individual activity & leisure Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 6 : Kalimpong - Darjeeling (70 kms / approx 3 hrs drive)

  After breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed for sightseeing tour of Kalimpong visiting Dello hills, Dr. Graham鈥檚 魅影直播, Flower Nurseries, Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang and Durbin Dara Hills. Transfer to Darjeeling (7380 Ft / 2250 Mts). Once the summer capital of India, Darjeeling is a land of infinite variety and charm. It will cater you a mix-experience of lively nature &charming Himalayan people. It is the place of Dorje, the mystic thunderbolt of the Lama-Religion. Surrounded by Tea gardens; this little town faces some of the highest peaks of the Himalayas. On arrival, check in at hotel. Evening free for individual activity & leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 7 : Darjeeling

  Early morning start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and it鈥檚 amazing effects on the Mt. Khangchendzonga (Worlds 3rd highest peak), visit Ghoom Monastery & Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the Hotel. After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (Ticket cost not included & will be approx INR 180.00 per person) Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & panoramic view of Tea Estate. Evening free for shopping & individual activity. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 8 : Darjeeling - Bagdogra (100 kms / approx 6 hrs drive) & depart Bagdogra

  After breakfast, check out from the hotel & transfer to Bagdogra. On arrival transfer to Bagdogra airport for onwards journey.
