Tipu's Drop : This is a 600 m high cliff face. It is believed that, condemned prisoners were pushed to their death here. On misty days when the wind wails in the trees, you can almost hear the blood-curdling screams of the prisoners as they met their gruesome end. But look down on a clear day and the view is inspiring.

Yoga Nandishvara Temple : This beautiful Dravidian style Chola temple has an inscription of Sambhaji, Shivaji's son. The Dwarapalakas, the magnificent metallic figures are worth a visit here.

Amruth Sarovar : A beautiful water lake that brims with lucid water all the year round. Arkavathi River Origin: Arkavathi River takes its birth on the south-west of the hill.

Muddenahalli : Muddena Halli, situated 21 kilometers from Nandi Hills, is the hometown of Sir M. Visvesvaraya, the architect of modern Karnataka.The house of this genius is now a museum. Tippus Summer Palace and Fort: During the Ganga period, the Chikkaballapur chieftains built a fort. Tippu strengthened it further and also build a rest house. This used to be Tippus summer bungalow.

Bull Temple : The Bull Temple situated in Bangalore, houses the 4.57 m high and 6.10 m long image of Nandi, Lord Shiva's bull.

Bheemeshwari Wildlife Sanctuary : Bheemeshwari in Mandya district is an ideal place not only for the wildlife but also for people on a holiday spree.

Apart from these, there are other interesting places like Anjaneya temple, Nellikayi Basavanna, Antaragange, Baananthi Bande, Bhoga Nandeeshwara temple etc.-------
