Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Entebbe

  Alpha Adventure Safaris staff will meet you at Entebbe International Airport (EBB) and drive you to the hotel. If your flight arrives in the morning or afternoon, you will go to enjoy some coffee and take a relaxing walk around Lake Victoria.

• Day 2 : Kampala, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, and Murchison Falls National Park

  On your way to Masindi from Kampala, you will branch off in Nakitoma – Nakasongola for a visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to enjoy a guided walk to see the rhinos. The Rhino Sanctuary currently has 14 rhinos and offers the unique experience of learning more about repopulation efforts under way. You will have lunch and continue to the park, then check in to your accommodation.

• Day 3 : Game drives and launch trip

  After breakfast, you will go for the first game drive in search for lions as well as elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife. After lunch, you will embark on the three-hour launch trip to the base of the Murchison Falls to cruise past huge hippo pods, crocodiles, bathing buffalo, and numerous aquatic birds adorning the north bank on the way to the mighty waterfalls as well as some of the world’s rarest vegetation. You will have an opportunity to take thousands of pictures, so carry your camera with you.

• Day 4 : Chimp trekking, birding, and game viewing

  On this day, you will meet the chimps by getting an early start to catch chimps leaving their nests in the Budongo Forest and look out for other primates and forest bird species along the way. You will also look out for the black and white colobus monkey, red tailed monkey, baboon and grey-cheeked manga bay, and other primates that inhabit Budongo Forest. Over 360 species inhabit this forest, giving one of the rarest opportunities to take exclusive birding pictures.
  
  Afterward, you will return to the hotel for lunch. After lunch, you will go for another game drive search for a variety of game animals and big cats. Mushra Travel Agency wants to make sure you have the best of the safari. You will return to the lodge in time for dinner.

• Day 5 : Return to Entebbe

  You will drive out toward Kampala early morning. You can take pictures as you drive out at a relaxed pace. You will arrive in Kampala late afternoon. Airport drop-off can be arranged free of charge if you are flying out on the last day of the safari. If you have other activities planned, please let Mushra Travel Agency know and they will send you a driver for airport drop-off at a later date.
