Nashik district is popularly known as the 鈥淰egetable garden of Maharastra and western states鈥� or 鈥淕rape city鈥� or 鈥淲ine capital鈥� of India. Nashik is Pune (200 km) and from Mumbai (186 km). By locating at the western side of Deccan Peninsula and in the western ghat, it provides suitable weather and soil for cultivation of vegetables and fruits.

Godavari is flowing near it and this city is surrounded with nine hills- chitraghanta, Pandav, Durga, Ganesh, Dinger Ali Mhasarul, Pathanpura, Jogwanda, and Konkani. The world famous 鈥楳aha Kumbhmela鈥� is organized here in every 12 years and some important incidents of Ramayan occurred here in Panchvati & Sita Gupha.

Some other religious tourist spots are Trimbakeshwara Temple, Saptashringi Devi Temple, Kalaram Temple, Sundernarayan Temple, Tapovan in Dandakaranya and many more religious

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Mumbai 鈥� Nashik (170Kms /4hrs)

  Morning you will be pick-up from Mumbai & will be driven by surface to Nashik and on arrival check in at your hotel. Rest of the day free to relax or visit

• Day 2 : Nashik

  Today early morning you will be taken for visit of the famous Trimbakeshwar Temple and the source of the Godavari River. Rest of the day free to relax or do your own activities

  Trimbakeshwar one of the 12 jyotirlingas in India enshrined here at the beautiful temple. Trimbakeshwar is an important pilgrim Centre for Hindus. Devotees take a dip in the sacred 鈥楰ushavarta Teerta鈥� before proceeding for darshan of 鈥楾rimbakeshwar鈥� The river Godavari has its source on a nearby hill, Brahmagiri

• Day 3 : Nashik 鈥� Mumbai

  Today morning after breakfast drive back to Mumbai and drop off at your place in Mumbai.
