Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Johannesburg - Maputo

Flight from Johannesburg to Maputo. Once you have cleared immigration a driver will take you to your Maputo Hotel. In the evening relax at the hotel and perhaps head out and enjoy a meal at one of the local restaurants
Day 2 : Mozambique

After a tasty breakfast you will be collected and You will be taken around Maputo on a private half day guided tour of the city highlighting all its historical sites and others like the C.F.M. Railway Station, Catholic Cathedral, the Fort of Nossa Senhora da Conceicao and the Casa de Ferro (House of Iron) designed by Gustav Eiffel who also designed the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Drive down Ave. Julius Nyerere past the historical Polana hotel and embassies, then on to the beachfront where You will have lunch at Praia da Costa Do Sol (for your own account). You will also visit local markets where you can shop for curios and intricately patterned Batik fabrics, Cashew nuts and wooden carvings.
Day 3 : Maputo

Day three of your Mozambique holiday can be spent at your leisure - want to soak up some rays by the pool? Perhaps hit the beach? Take in some more Maputo attractions? The choice is yours. If you are feeling energetic take part in a guided walk to learn about local artists and painters such as Pancho Guedos and see some fantastic local architecture from the 1970's.
Alternatively, head out on an optional excursion to the historic Inhaca Island which is home to many species of birds. Optional activities include fantastic diving and snorkelling on reefs just off Inhaca Island. In the evening you might like to head out to a local restaurant for dinner and check out Maputo's nightlife.
Day 4 : Maputo - Johannesburg

You will enjoy a delicious breakfast. Then it will be time to take a few last photographs of the view, pack up and be driven back to the Maputo Airport, where you will catch a flight back to Johannesburg O. R. Tambo International Airport.
