Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival transfer from Airport to Hotel at Munnar

  Upon arrival our executive will meet you at the Cochin airport followed by transfer to hotel at Munnar - an ideal holiday destination. Check into the hotel on arrival and rest of the day at leisure. (Overnight at Munnar) [Transport: Vehicle only for arrival transfer]
• Day 2 : Munnar/Sightseeing

  After breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Munnar visiting the Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam & Dairy Farm, Old Munnar Town and the town market. Enjoy rest of the day at leisure. (Overnight in Munnar) [Transport: Vehicle at disposal]
• Day 3 : Munnar - Thekkady (135 Kms./4 H)

  Check out from the hotel after breakfast and drive towards Periyar (also known as Thekkady). The name Periyar comes after the Dam made here by the English in 1895. A wild life reserve hence is an ideal place to track down wild life such as Elephants, Bison, Deer and numerous other varieties of birds. The landscape here is with very tropical and you will be surrounded by tea, coffee & other spices. On arrival check into the hotel and at 16.00hrs leave for a guided plantation tour to the nearby garden where in various species of spices and other aromatic plants are cultivated. The guide explains & clarifies your doubts on this tour. Depending on the day’s opportunity you will also taken to visit a tea factory nearby. (Overnight in Thekkady) [Transport: Vehicle at disposal] OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES: Boating in the Periyar Lake - One can see the wild animals along the gringe of the lake foraging, bathing, drinking and resting. It would be a greater fun if one is lucky enough to see the elephants playing with their babies in the lake.
• Day 4 : Thekkady - Alleppey (150 Kms./4 H)

  Check out from the hotel after breakfast and drive to Alleppey – the land of Backwaters. On arrival check into the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. (Overnight at Alleppey) [Transport: Vehicle at disposal]
• Day 5 : Alleppey - Cochin

  Checkout from the hotel after breakfast and drive to Cochin – a cosmopolitan federal state of Kerala. On arrival check into the hotel and proceed for sightseeing of Cochin visiting - ‘The Jewish Synagogue’ at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town, ‘The St. Francis Church’, the oldest European Church in India, ‘The Santa Cruz Basilica’ originally built in 1557 by the Portuguese, The Dutch Palace, Spice market at the narrow streets. Evening visit the Chinese fishing area which is very lively with the daily fish market in here. All the live catch from time to time comes to sale. If you are a person who like to eat fish, then you can buy very fresh fish from here and ask the nearby restaurant to cook the same for you. Later return to hotel and rest of the day at leisure. (Overnight at Cochin) [Transport: Vehicle at disposal]

• Day 6 : Departure Transfer

  Check out from the hotel after breakfast and drive to Cochin airport/railway station for onward journey. [Transport: Vehicle only for departure transfer]
