ABOUT聽MANALIOne day,聽Varvasvata,聽the seventh incarnation of聽MANU聽found a tiny fish in his bathing water. The fish told him to look after it with devotion as one day it would do him a great service. The seventh Manu cared for the fish till the day it grew so huge that he released it into the sea. Before departing, the fish warned Manu of an impending deluge when the entire world would be submerged and bade him to build a sea worthy ark. When the flood came,聽Varvasvata聽and seven sages were towed to safety by MATSYA, the fish which is regarded as first avatar of Lord Vishnu. As the water subsided the seventh Manu's ark came to the rest on a hill side and the place was named聽MANALI聽(2050 m) after him.As the flood slowly dried, here arose a place of breath- taking natural beauty which was only appropriate at聽Manali聽that life began again. Today this legendary cradle of all human kind is a prime聽holiday聽destination. There are high mountains surrounded by snow and deep boulder strewn gorges. There are thick forests full of cool breeze and bird songs. There are fields of wild flowers, small picturesque hamlets and fruit laden orchards.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi to Manali by Volvo

  Arrival in Delhi from there you have to reach by your own to "Nirmal hriday Church, Majnu ka tilla, New Delhi." and transfer to Manali by evening bus Luxury/Volvo 8:00 to 10:00pm.

  On the arrival We pick u from bus stand and go to hotel and after some freshnup Visit to Half Day local sightseeing of聽Manali聽鈥淗ADIMBA TEMPLE鈥澛燘uilt in 1553 with a superbly crafted four tiered pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway.聽鈥淐LUB HOUSE鈥澛燭he Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day.鈥澛燭ibetan Monastery,聽Van Vihar,聽and鈥淰ASHIST鈥澛燱ell known for its hot springs. There are old temples dedicated to the sage聽Vashisth聽and to聽Lord Rama & Overnight stay at the hotel in聽Manali.聽

• Day 3 : Manali to Solang

  This day after breakfast proceed towards Solang valley.聽Solang ValleySolang Valley in聽Manali聽is located at a distance of 13 kms in a side valley at the top of the Kullu valley is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks. Solang Valley has fine聽ski slopes. The Mountaineering Institute of聽Manali聽has installed a ski lift for training purpose. Located here is a hut and guest house of the Mountaineering and Allied sports Institute,聽Manali. Now a few hotels have also come up. The winter skiing festival is organised in Solang Valley.聽Sking and Paragliding聽are two main activities are organised here. Apart from this many other adventure sports are available like聽Zorbing, Horse riding & Snow Motor Bikes ridingOvernight stay at the hotel in聽Manali

• Day 4 : Manali to Kullu nagar & Depart

  After taking breakfast & check out from the hotel聽you will be proceeding for a lovely day trip to Kullu. Start your day tour by visiting the Naggar Castle which was built around 1460 A.D by Raja Sidh Singh of Kullu. Apart from Naggar Castle, there are other sightseeing spots that you can enjoy while you are out for the day trip to Kullu. These include the Shawl factory, Gayetri Mata Gauri Shankar Temple, Jagatsukh temple and Shiva temple and lastly you can engage yourself in an exciting activity, river rafting.聽
