Nestled in the north-west corner of India, Himachal Pradesh is an entirely mountainous region, which has a deeply dissected photography, a complex geological structure and rich temperate flora in sub-tropical altitudes. Manali situated at 6,500 feet above sea level, stands high in the clouds. A dream Himalayan hill station widely acclaimed as the "Queen of hill stations", Manali charm is legendry and enchanting, where one holiday is just the beginning for many more to come. With the majestic grandeur of the Himalayas on one side, river Beas cutting across the town, Verdant Valleys with rolling meadows and grazing herds dotting the hillsides, apple orchards and folk music adding romance to the ambience, Manali presents a wondrous canvas to the traveler. Or encounter adventure on the myriad trekking trails and routes, while skiing on the snow slopes, or rafting down the Beas River. As its magical charms enamors, you will ebulliently agree that it has rightly been christened as the "Valley of the Gods".
Day 1 : Arrive in Manali
Arrive in Manali. Check in to Guest house/÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ stay unit.

Hidimba Temple - Also known as the Dhoongri Temple, built in 1550 AD, with a four-tiered pagoda shaped roof and a front door way, superbly crafted and carved with figures & symbols. The temple is dedicated to Hidimba Devi, the wife of Bhima (one of the Pandava brothers, from the great epic Mahabharata). Situated amidst lush green and thick whispering forests, the temple is also the venue for an annual fair held during May.
Manu Maharishi Temple - Situated in Old Manali Village, which lies across the Manalsu River, named after Rishi Manu, who lived and wrote the first constriction of India called "Manu Samriti". This ancient temple is perhaps the only temple of Maharishi Manu in India. The original name of this village was Manu Alya (abode of Manu), which later on was pronounced as Manali, the name now borrowed by the main town.
Buddhist monastery - A small monastery in a peaceful clearing, has the image of Buddha and some exquisite thanka paintings. Famous for carpet weaving and Tibetan handicrafts.
Vashisht Rishi Temple & Hot Water Springs - Across the Beas river, about 3 km away from Manali, at an altitude of 1,982 meters (6,200 feet), are the natural Sulphur springs and the ancient Vashisht Rishi Temple. The Sulphur hot water spring in the premises of the temple is endowed with great healing properties. The village itself is perched on a steep hillside across the river Beas.
Naggar Castle - 22 kms from Manali, this is the old capital of Kullu. It commands a spectacular view of the whole Kullu valley. The castle, built in 16th century by Raja Sidh Singh has a historical importance which now has been converted into a hotel.
Roerich Art Gallery - It is an elegant mansion where the work of the famous Russian painter, Nicholas Roerich, who lived and worked there, are displayed. It is located in a grove of deodhars and has lovely views all around.
Jagat Sukh (Lord Shiva) temple & Sandhya Gayatri Devi Temple - situated in Jagatsukh Village, one of the biggest villages in Dist. Kullu, 6 k.m. from Manali & 12 k.m. from Naggar.

Day 2 : Manali - Solang Valley (13 km.) Paragliding & Nature Walk
After breakfast drive to Solang for Paragliding and Nature Walk. For joy ride one has to walk about 30 minute up hill till the take off point. The pilot will help wearing harness and will take off. The duration of the joy ride is anything between 20 seconds to 60 seconds. After Paragliding one can also go for zorbing. After that the walk to Anjani MAhadev can be taken. Evening back to hotel. Overnight in hotel.
Solang Valley offers spectacular views of the snow-clad mountains and the glaciers all around. Solang is the venue for Paragliding and the skiing.
Day 3 : Manali - Rohtang Pass (51 km.) Skiing
After breakfast, we leave for Rohtang Pass. Situated at an altitude of 3979 mtrs (13,051 feet) above sea level and 51 kms. outside Manali, the mighty Rohtang Pass is the gateway to Lahaul - Spiti Valley. Open for just about four months a year, it affords a wide Panoramic View of the mountains around. Here one sees the majesty of the mountains at its height and Splendour. At the top of the pass, the air seems to glitter against the snow as you look down over herring boned ridges into the Lahaul Valley. Skiing can be done for about 4 hours here. One can not be pro in just 4 hours of training but it is good fun. Return Manali by evening. Overnight in hotel.
Day 4 : Manali - Manikaran (85 km) (whole day trip) Rafting
After breakfast drive to Manikaran. On the way at Kullu stop for rafting (optional)and then proceed for Manikaran sight seeing trip. The rafting starts from Pirdi and terminates at Jhiri. It takes about 24 minutes and the distance is 14 km.
Vaishno Temple - A small cave and shrine with an image of Goddess Vaishno Devi. Other temples are dedicated to Lord Shiva, Rama and Krishna.
Kasol Valley - Charmingly located on open space with slopes down to a broad expanse of clear white sand at the edge of the river Parvati.
Manikaran - Famous for its hot water springs on the bank of the river Parvati, that traces its origin to a legend. A well known pilgrimage place for Hindus and Sikhs. Here icy cold waters of the Parvati river co-exists with boiling water side-by-side. The hot water springs are reputed for their healing properties.
Day 5 : Depart Manali
Day for Rappelling, rock climbing and River crossing. Evening take the bus to Delhi at 3:30 PM. End of tour and our services.
