Maihar : It is said that when lord Shiva was carrying the body of the dead mother goddess (Mai in Hindi) Sati, her necklace (har in Hindi) fell at this place and hence the name "Maihar", meaning the "necklace of mother"). there is also one fact about Maihar, that is related to famous Warriors Alha and his brother Udal.

(Kamtanath : Kamadgiri is the main holy place of Chitrakoot Dham . The Sanskrit word ‘Kamadgiri’ means the mountain which fulfills all the wishes and desires. The place is believed to have been the abode of Lord Ram, Sita and Laxman during their exile. Lord Kamtanath, another of His names, is the Ishta Deva principal deity not only of Kamadgiri Parvat but of the whole of Chitrakoot. The religious-minded believe that all the holy places (i.e. teerthas) are in the Parikrama or its pilgrimage-path. The pilgrimage path around this hill is about 5 Km long. There are a large number of temples in the Parikrama Path. Except during the summers, the place remains green throughout the year and appears like a bow seen from any place in Chitrakoot.)

(Sati ANusaya : Sati Anusuya Ashram is located about 18 km from Ramghat. It is one of the holiest places in the region and is considered a part of the "chitrakoot char dham". This place gets its name from the fact that it served as the ashram of Maharishi Atri along with his wife Mahasati Anasuya. She is also regarded as one of the mahasatis in holy scriptures of Hinduism because of her devout, pure and chaste character)

(Shringaverpu: Accoring to puran Rama crossed the river Ganges at Shringaverpur on his way to exile along with Sita and Lakshmana. The village is on the banks of the river.)

(Kashi Vishwanath : Situated on the western bank of holy river Ganga in Varanasi, Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas or temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. The main deity of Kashi Vishwanath Temple is Lord Shiva, also known as Vishwanatha or Vishweshwarar meaning 'the ruler of the universe'. The city of Varanasi, the cultural capital of India, is thus known as the city of Lord Shiva. The temple has 800 kg of gold plating on its tower.

(RamJanmbhoomi : Ram Temple is the place on which Lord Vishnu was born as form Lord Ram of the 7th Avatar. The place is located in Ayodhya city, Uttar Pradesh, India. There is a temple dedicated to Lord Ram on the birthplace.

(Nandigram: Nandigram, also known by ancient name Bharatkund, is a village in Sohawal tehsil in Ayodhya district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, India. During the exile of Lord Ram, King Bharat ruled from Nandigram instead of the kingdom's capital Ayodhya)

Naimisaranyam, also known as Neemsar, Nimsar or Nimkhar, and the Naimishnath Devaraja temple, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu located in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Maihar – Chitrakoot ( 126KM - 3/4 Hours)

  Once you arrive to Maihar our Azure Tour Advisor representative will meet and greet you. After pick up from Maihar drive to CHITRAKOOT (250 kms)- visit Kamthanath Darshan, Ram Ghat, Bharat Milap temple, Gupta Godavari cave, spatikShila and Sati Anusaya Mandir - Transfer to Hotel by evening for dinner and overnight stay.

  3 PM Visit Triveni Sangam, Take holy bath in Sangam and perform puja and perform ritual ablutions in the shallow waters. Allahabad Fort- Patalpuri Temple, Bade Hanuman Ji Temple, Alopshankri Temple, Anand Bhawan, Ajad Park (company garden)
  8 PM Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel in Prayagraj.

  1:30 PM :Arrival and check into hotel and Lunch at Hotel
  4 PM Excursion to Sarnath. Sarnath is the place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon at Deer Park (Rishipattana). The Tourist ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ at Sarnath are the Buddha Temples, Dhamekha Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa and the Archaeological Museum.
  Lamhi: Later, drive to Lamhi Village situated towards west to Sarnath. The Lamhi village is the birthplace of the renowned Hindi and Urdu writer Munshi Premchand. Munshi Premchand acclaimed as the greatest narrator of the sorrows, joy and aspirations of the Indian Peasantry. Born in 1880, his fame as a writer went beyond the seven seas. He died in 1936. Overnight stay at Hotel in Varanasi.
  
  (Ganga Arti : Ganga Aarti is an important ritual held on a grand scale every morning and evening on the banks of the holy Ganges. The priests perform the Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. The entire Ghat gets illuminated with a divine light that can be felt strongly.   2 PM : Enroute Lunch
  4 PM : Alaknanda Cruise ride for Ganga Aarti Darshan
  6 PM : Boat ride on the Gange . Enjoy Subah-e-Banaras in Varanasi. It is a mystical and spiritual experience to watch Sun God along River Ganges. See Ghats of Varanasi like Manikarnika Ghat (Largest Cremation Ground of World), Dashashwamedh Ghat, Assi Ghat and more during Boat Ride.
