Mata Vaishno Devi Temple is one of the most visited temples which is situated at a height of 5,300 ft located inside a cave called Trikuta Bhagwat hill in the state of Jammu and Kashmir (J & K). The cave temple is at a distance of 61 kms from Jammu and the last 13 kms of the way have to be negotiated on foot by the yatris and the devotees of Maa Vaishno Devi. At the entrance of the cave, the path to the temple turns into a narrow tunnel with a cold stream named the Charan Ganga running through it.

Popularly known as the Devbhumi - "Land of the Gods", Himachal Pradesh is a beautiful hill state in India, nestles in north-west region of western Himalayas. The state is landlocked with the Tibetan plateau to the east, Jammu and Kashmir to the north, and the Punjab to the west. However, the state stands apart from its neighbours in terms of its sheer topographic diversity and breathtaking pristine natural beauty. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Katra

  Arrival at Jammu Railway Station / Airport, you will be met by our representative and proceed to Katra. Check into the hotel & evening is free at leisure. Overnight stay at Katra.

• Day 2 : Katra

  After breakfast, start your Holy Journey to Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan, the temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Shakti. Visit to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine (14 km), ponies can also be arranged by self (at your own cost) and return back to hotel at Katra late in evening.

• Day 3 : Katra - Dalhousie

  Morning after breakfast drive from Katra to Dalhousie. Arrival Dalhousie in the afternoon. Check in to the Hotel. Visit nearby places like Panchpula, Subhash Baoli, Sapt Dhara and Tibetan Market in the evening. Overnight Stay at the Hotel.

  Morning proceeds to visit Khajjiar. Popularly known as the mini Swiss for its snow capped mountains and pine trees. View the five hills ranging from 1,600-2,400 mtrs offering breathtaking views of the Dhauldhar mountain ranges. Overnight stay & dinner in hotel at Dalhousie.

• Day 5 : Dalhousie - Dharamshala

  Morning proceed by road to Dharamshala, magnificently set to the background of the Dhauldhar mountains and the seat of his Holiness, the Dalai Lama, the leader of the Tibetans, since 1960, Church, Dal Lake, Naddi (The View Point) and local Tibetan market in Macleodganj. Arrive and check in to hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

  In the morning check-out from the hotel & depart from Dharamshala to Manali, located in the ancient Kullu Valley, surrounded by towering peaks at an arm length. Enrote Visit Chamunda Temple, Palampur Tea Garden and Baijnath Temple. Evening arrive at Manali and check in the hotel. Overnight Stay at the Hotel.

  Morning proceeds to visit the Rohtang Pass (51 Kms / 2 hrs), the highest point in Manali at a height of 3,978 mtr, which simply offers panoramic view of mountains rising far above the clouds & which are simply breathtaking. On the return visit most beautiful Solang Valley where number of adventure activities is conducted. Evening back to Manali.
