The rolling hills around Munnar are South India's largest tea-growing region. So spend your second-day knowing more about tea plantations by visiting the Tata Tea Museum (closed on Monday). In the museum, you could see various photographs and machines depicting the flourishing tea industry in India.
Next, visit the Eravikulam National Park, which is famous for Nilgiri Tahr - an endangered ibex. Gaur, Indian Muntjac, Sambar Deer, Nilgiri langur, Indian Porcupine, Nilgiri Marten, small clawed otter, and elephants are some of other species that can be spotted in the park. Do note that the park remains closed for the breeding season, tentative months are Jan-Feb. Next, you would visit Mattupetty Dam. Apart from water conservation and electricity generation, Mattupetty Dam is famous for its lake where you could enjoy different kinds of boating. Before heading to the hotel, enjoy a short stopover at the Echo Point to see the magnificent view of the mountains eloped in clouds.
Check-out from your plush hotel/cruise in Munnar and make way to the next destination of your extravagant Kerala holiday - Kumarakom, which is famous for backwater. On arrival in Kumarakom, check-in at the hotel/cruise, unpack and relax in the comfort of your room. Today start your drive to Kovalam. Upon arrival in Kovalam, check into a hotel and rest awhile. Later,you will be visiting Hawa Beach & Light House beach to witness the exquisiteness of these beaches which is enhanced by the stack of palm grooves which reward a unique elegance to this place. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Today, you can head for an excursion to Kanyakumari, Visit the Sunset Point. It is located at the southern most tip of the Indian Peninsula post that head towards Kumari Amman Temple, Vivekananda rock memorial, Gandhi Mandapam, the statue of Tiruvalluvar, and 3 ocean meeting point ( Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea).

If you do not go for the excursion, set out to enjoy some beach activities at the Kovalam Beach. Stay overnight at the hotel.
On this day, check-out from the hotel as per the hotel policies and plan your day according to the departure time of your flight. Once it is time for you to leave, you would get a transfer from your hotel to the Cochin airport. Head back home with wonderful memories of your holiday in Kerala!
