This short trip is ideal for those wanting to see the highlights of Tibet and Lhasa. You fly or drive across the Himalaya to Lhasa, where you have plenty of time to visit the main sights in and around the town including the Potala Palace, the Norbulingka (the Dalai Lama鈥檚 summer palace) and the Jorkhang Temple which contains Jowo Shakyamuni, the most holy statue to all Tibetan Buddhists.Airport Taxes.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Kathmandu/ Lhasa (By Flight)

  At morning you will fly for Lhasa from Kathmandu for an hour over the panoramic Himalayan Ranges. Lhasa at an altitude of 3,650m is situated on the north bank of Kyichu River. On arrival you will be transferred to hotel by our local representative, afternoon rest at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel
• Day 2 : Lhasa Sightseeing Tour

  After breakfast full day sightseeing of Potala Palace, Ramoche Monastery and & Norbu Linka. Potala Palace, this legendary palace built atop a single hill is synonymous with Tibet by the first foremost king Songtsen Gompa. Norbu Linka meaning 'Treasure Park' covers an area of around 360000 sq. m. and is considered to be the biggest man made garden in Tibet. After Sight seeing you will be transferred to hotel for your overnight at hotel in Lhasa.
• Day 3 : Lhasa Sightseeing Tour

  After breakfast full day sightseeing of Sera Monastery, Jokhang Monastery, Barkhor Market. Sera Monastery, 5 Kms north of Lhasa, Sera setting is one of Lhasa's prettiest monasteries. Jokhang Temple, situated in the heart of Old Lhasa, it houses Tibet's most precious religious relic, a golden Shakyamuni Buddha which was brought as a gift by the Chinese Princess Wen Cheng on the occasion of her wedding to the Tibetan King, Songtsen Gompo. Barkhor Market place, which is the religious and social focus of Lhasa. After sight seeing you will be transferred to hotel for your overnight stay.
• Day 4 : Lhasa/ Kathmandu (By Flight)

  final departure for airport, so check-out from hotel and in time transfer to airport to fly for Kathmandu.

• Tibet Portion - Airport / Hotel / Airport transfers. Non AC 4WD Toyota Land Cruiser will be provided in Tibet for a group of 2-4 Pax and Mini Coach will be provided for the group of 5 Pax.
• Sight seeing of Tibet with accompanied good English Speaking Tibetan Guide as per the Itinerary and entrance fees to Monasteries and monuments.
