Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Addis Ababa - Lalibela, By Flight

  Representative of Access Eco Trekking Ethiopia Tours will meet you early morning at your hotel for the transfer to Bole airport to fly to Lalibela. Upon arrival, A transfer to your hotel will be done driving for about 30 minutes to town of Lalibela and you will check-in to your reserved hotel. After having Lunch, Your local guide will come to the hotel and you will start your half day tour visiting the first group of Lalibela churches.

• Day 2 : Activity Tour Visiting Churches of Lalibela

  On your second day in Lalibela, you need only a half day tour to visit the second and third group of churches including the most famous and amazing church St. George. Doing this, we have also so many options to spent the rest of your time visiting the surrounding of Lalibela. The most common are a visit to 鈥淵emrehane Kristos鈥� a church which is far about 45Km from Lalibela is said to be the only evidence and serve as a bridge to the Ethiopian history between the Axumite and Zagwe Dynasty. It鈥檚 Architecture is so amazing and very different than other churches in the country.
  Plus, the 4 hour hiking to the monastery churches of 鈥淎sheton Maryam鈥� offers a panoramic view of the region. A short drive will took us to a small village 鈥淎defa鈥� which was the capital of Ethiopia during the century offer to discover the Ethiopian countryside lifestyle and here you visit and try how to bake 鈥淓njera鈥� the Ethiopian daily food and made a farm visit. This will help travellers to visit the living house of the farmer inside a small hut, how the Ethiopian cultivate and harvest on the field. Finally, if your trip fall on Saturday, there is the weekly an open-air market in town where thousands of people come to buy and sell.

  After having breakfast a transfer to Lalibela Airport will done and you will fly back to Addis Ababa.

  You could do a visit to the National Museum of Ethiopia to visit 鈥溾�滾ucy鈥� the remaining fossil of the first mankind , the Holy Trinity Cathedral church, 鈥淢ercatoo鈥� (The biggest open-air market in Africa), 鈥淭ommoca鈥� (where you could test the Ethiopian Coffee) or visit one of the traditional music bar testing the Ethiopian honey wine and 鈥淓njera鈥�.
