Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Manali

  Arrive at Manali. Meet and greet with our representative. Proceed to the Hotel. Local sightseeing. Overnight stay at Manali.

• Day 2 : Manali- Sarchu: (222 kms/ 10 hrs):

  After having breakfast proceed to Sarchu. Travel from Manali to Keylong enroute crossing over Rohtang Pass (3980 m) and a few villages in Lahaul valley like Sissu, Gondla and confluence of Chandra & Bhaga rivers at Tandi. This route would provide you views of mountains, several streams/ waterfalls and hanging glaciers. After a short stop at Keylong continue drive to Srachu enroute visiting Jispa and crossing over Baralacha La 4800 m. Baralacha La has a small lake – Surajtal which is considered to be source of river Bhaga. On arrival check in the deluxe camp accommodation. Evening walk around the beautiful & huge campsite of Sarchu. Overnight stay at Sarchu.

• Day 3 : Sarchu/ Leh (250 kms/ 10 hrs):

  Today is a very long day and we start very early. Travel by surface from Sarchu to Leh crossing over Lachang La (5065 m) and Tanglang La (5360 m). On arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 4 : Leh- day excursion to Monasteries:

  Post Breakfast we proceed for Thiksey Monastery an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village, Shey Palace, The ancient capital of Ladakh, 3 Idiots Rancho School & Sindhu Ghat. After visiting above places we drive back to Leh. Evening at leisure to explore the city on your own. Dinner & Overnight at the Hotel.

• Day 5 : Leh to Nubra Valley (125 Kms / aprx. 06 hrs):

  After an early breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY leads through KHARDUNG-LA-PASS (the highest motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive Sumur or Hunder by afternoon and rest of the day at leisure to explore beautiful village of Sumur & Hunder with a Visit to Diskit Monastery. Overnight stay at Camp.

• Day 6 : Nubra-Turtuk-Nubra:

  After breakfast, leave for Turtuk. On the way visit Diskit Monastery. Turtuk is the last village on the Indian side of the border and was taken over by the Indian Army during the Kargil War. You will be mesmerised by the beauty in the Simplicity of Turtuk and its people. Return to Nubra. Overnight at your camp.

• Day 7 : Nubra to Pangong:

  After breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake via Shyok river. Arrive around afternoon. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the beauty of the lake. Dinner and overnight at your camp.

• Day 8 : Pangong – Leh:

  This morning, after breakfast, drive around the Pangong Lake and don't forget to click photos!! Continue to Leh. En route visit Hemis Monastery hidden in a gorge, the largest and wealthiest Gompa in Ladakh. Visit Stok Palace, famous for beautiful gardens and the view of sunrise as well as sunset is amazing from the palace. At present, the palace is open to visits and presents a collection of royal attires, crown and other royal materials. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Leh.

• Day 9 : Leh - Alchi – Kargil:

  Today we proceed to Alchi. En route we visit Magnetic Hill, Patthar Sahib Gurudwara and Sangam of river Indus and Zanskar followed by visit to Moon land and Lamayuru Monastery. Later we visit Alchi Gompa – mainly known for its magnificent and well preserved 11th and 12th century wall paintings, all in an Indo-Himalayan style. Overnight stay at Kargil.

• Day 10 : Kargil – Drass – Leh:

  Today we visit Dras War Memorial also known as Vijay Memorial – built in the memory of fallen soldiers in the 1999 Kargil war. The museum in this war memorial exhibits army emblems, model of Himalyan Mountain Range and documents archive. There is a special War Gallery namely Captain Manoj Kumar that has photographs and weapons. The walls have the name of the soldiers who sacrificed in the war. In the evening arrive in Leh.

• Day 11 : Leh Departure:

  Today, bid farewell to your Lake and Pass Ladakh' tour, as you are transferred to Airport in Leh for your onward journey.
