Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Leh

  Upon arrival at Leh Airport in Ladakh, a representative of Prudent Networks will greet and transfer you to the hotel. Have full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs). Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

• Day 2 : Leh Sightseeing

  Take delicious breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for local sightseeing tour of Leh, the capital town of Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir. Major attractions you鈥檒l visit today include: Shey Palace, Thicksey Monastery & Stok Palace Museum. Post lunch at the hotel, visit Shanti Stupa, Sankar Gompa and Leh Palace. In the evening explore local bazaars of Leh for shopping. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Leh - Pangong Lake - Leh

  Have breakfast at the hotel. Make full day excursion trip to the famous Pangong Lake (approx. 300 kms round trip, located on the Indo-China Border), en route crossing the Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.). After sightseeing around the lake, drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Have sumptuous dinner and restful overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 4 : Leh - Nubra Valley

  Take breakfast at the hotel and then leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardung-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area and Samstaling Gompa. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Diskit / Hundar. Check-in at the camp or hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 5 : Nubra Valley - Leh

  Take breakfast and then visit the famous Diskit Monastery. Enjoy double-humped camel safari. Later drive to Leh and check-in at the hotel. Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 6 : Leh - Alchi / Uleytoko

  Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. Leave fro Alchi / Uleytoko. On the way you鈥檒l visit the Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Point, Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers) and then the 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic complex famous for its wall frescoes and architecture - a UNESCO listed heritage site. On arrival at Uleytoko you will be transferred to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 7 : Uleytoko - Lamayuru - Kargil

  Have breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Kargil. On the way you鈥檒l visit the famous Lamayuru Monastery and the adjoining "Moonland Hills". You will also see the 9-Mtrs. tall rock sculpture of the Maitreya Buddha at Mulbek (7th -8th century AD). On arrival at Kargil a representative of Prudent Networks will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Have sumptuous dinner and restful overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 8 : Kargil - Sonamarg - Srinagar

  After an early morning breakfast drive to Srinagar (the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir) passing through Drass (famous as the second coldest inhabited place in the world) and crossing the Zoji-la Pass (11,500-ft. / 3,505 m) to reach Sonamarg from where it鈥檚 a smooth 2-hour drive to Srinagar through the beautiful Kashmir countryside. On arrival in Srinagar, a representative of Prudent Networks will transfer you to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

• Day 9 : Srinagar Sightseeing

  Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for local sightseeing tour of Srinagar. Visit the famous mughal gardens that are very popular among tourists. Enjoy Shikara ride on the picturesque Dal Lake. See other sites of interest. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

• Day 10 : Srinagar - Onward

  In the early morning, a representative of Prudent Networks will transfer you to the airport where you鈥檒l board flight back to your home / onward destination.
