Our walking tour in the old town of Kotor is perfect if you have only a short time while visiting us from a cruise ship. Kotor is medieval town with busy squares and beautiful Renaissance buildings. The well preserved fortified walls protect it from the sea and land. They are considered as one of the world鈥檚 historic values.
You will visit the Cathedral of St. Tryphon which was constructed in 1166 and built on the remains of a former temple from the 9th century. Here you will see the remains of frescos from 14th century and the valuable treasury of local and Venetian golden works dating from the 14th to the 20th centuries.
Your tour also includes a visit to the Maritime Museum where you can see a unique collection representing maritime history of the Bay of Kotor. This is the collection of many historical objects, models and paintings of old ships and sailboats, ship parts and old instruments.
After the tour you can walk back to the pier or enjoy free time on your own.
