Kodaikanal is one of the very popular and most sought after Honeymoon and holiday destination hill resorts in South India. Its name in the Tamil language means "The Gift of the Forest".Malayalam meaning of Kodaikanal is referred to as the "Princess of Hill stations" and has a long history as a retreat and popular tourist destination. The cool and misty weather, the scenic beauty of the rolling hills and the wooded forest of Kodaikanal and its surroundings will mesmerize any visitor throughout the year.

Rowboats and pedalos can be hired at the Kodaikanal Boat Club with its main entrance. Horses and bicycles can be hired beside the lake for short periods. The 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) path that skirts the periphery of this lovely lake is a favourite walk for the locals and tourists alike.Meals other than specified.

  Night stay at kodaikanal.

• Day 2 : Visit: KODAIKANAL

  Visiting Places : Berijam Lake,shenbaganur museum,Guna cave,Kurinji Andavar Temple,Dolphins Nose.
  Evening Return back to Trichy.
