Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri – Gangtok (Approx 125 Km / 4 hrs)

  Arrive at Bagdogra airport / New Jalpaiguri railway station you will be transferred to Gangtok. At an altitude of 1750m, Gangtok became the state capital in the mid 19 th century and has undergone rapid development since then. The downtown area is dominated by huge government buildings decorated with traditional Buddhist symbols. Gangtok is also a resting ground for people traveling to North Sikkim. Surrounded by Monasteries and Orchids, Gangtok is truly a travelers delight.
  Later check into the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at the respected hotel. (Meals on purchase)

• Day 2 : Gangtok – City Tour

  Today after breakfast at the hotel and proceed for full day sightseeing in Gangtok visiting Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower Show, Do Drul Chorten and Bakthang Falls. Overnight at the respected hotel. (Breakfast)

• Day 3 : Gangtok - Excursion to Changu Lake & Baba Mandir

  Today proceed to full day excursion to Changu Lake which is 35 Kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake derives its waters from melting snows of the surrounding mountains Legends say that lamas could forecast the future by studying
  the colour of the lake’s waters. Also visit Baba Mandir. Overnight at the respected hotel. (Breakfast)

• Day 4 : Gangtok - Darjeeling (97 km, approx 4 hrs)

  Today after breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Darjeeling. On arrival check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. (Breakfast)

• Day 5 : Darjeeling – Tiger Hill and City Sightseeing

  Today early morning visit Tiger Hill to see a beautiful sunrise and Himalayan Range like Kanchandzonga, Mount Everest etc. One can see the horizon changing colors just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turn golden. It is truly a majestic
  sight and Ghoom Monastery which is oldest Monastery in the area which was built in 1875 and one can see the image of Mythey Buddha 15ft. height on the way back from Tiger Hill.
  
  After Breakfast at the hotel proceed for city tour visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute(closed on Thursday) which was started by Tenzing Norgay after he climbed Mt. Everest, Zoological Park(closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Centre(closed on
  Sunday), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock, Tea Estate(from outside), Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. Overnight at the respected hotel.

• Day 6 : Depart Darjeeling – Bagdogra (Approx 95 Km / 3hrs)

  This morning you will be transferred to Bagdogra airport to board your flight back home or to your next destination.

• Due to shortage in space for parking at most of the hotels the vehicle may be parked a little away from the entrance of the hotel (specially when your hotel is located in the main town areas).

• For extra person, mattress will be provided not bed at all places.

• Standard Check-in time 12:00 hrs - 14:00 hrs and Check-out time 10:00 hrs - 12:00 hrs (Noon) as per the hotel policy.
• Meals provided at the hotel (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) are based on a set menu and are on a buffet system basis. Anything other than the set menu will be charged extra.
