Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Cochin - Munnar (150 Km/ 04 Hrs)

Arrival at Cochin and transfer to Munnar. Munnar is 1800 mts above sea level and also the home of South India's highest peak (anamudi-2695 mts). On the way to Munnar visit Vaplara, Cheeyappara waterfalls and Tea Plantations. Upon arrival at Munnar transfer to Hotel. Check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit Rajamala (eravikulam National Park - open as per the directions by the forest authorities ), the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr (hermitragus Hilarious)- the mountain goat of South India. You may visit the Tea Museum surrounded by tea Gardens- the only Museum of its kind; which illustrates the timeworn method of Tea production. Evening have a short visit at Munnar town. Overnight stay at Munnar
Day 2 : Munnar

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Munnar. Mattupetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothenmedu View Point, Blossom Park etc are some of the highlights of the sightseeing. Shopping & overnight stay at Munnar
Day 3 : Munnar -leppey (houseboat)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to houseboat . Around 1200 hrs check in at the Houseboat and start your cruise through the rich and splendid backwater. Just relax at the deluxe houseboat. It will be a unique and exclusive experience in your lifetime. You will be cruising along the village sides and paddy fields witnessing the core life of the Kerala villages for the whole day. The house boat is fully furnished with bedrooms and a kitchen. Dinner and overnight at the houseboat.

Day 4 : Alleppey - Kovalam

Alleppey - Kovalam - After breakfast check out from the hotel / houseboat and transfer to Kovalam. Check in at Hotel. Kovalam is an evergreen and pleasant climatic beach resort. Kovalam is a dreamland for tourists all over the world. With high rock promontory and a calm bay of blue waters, this beach paradise creates a unique aquarelle on moonlit nights. Kovalam was brought to the public eye by the Maharaja of Travancore. Over the past three decades, the place has been well developed, and now figures prominently on the world tourism map. The warm and clean atmosphere by the coconut trees and the white sandbed are perfect for relaxing holidays, as the seabreeze gently plays with the waves. Relax at the hotel and overnight stay
Day 5 : Kovalam - Kanyakumari - Kovalam

After breakfast proceed for Kanyakumari sightseeing . Kanyakumari is located at the southern tip of the Indian subcontinent. With an area of 1672听sq.km. Kanyakumari occupies 1.29% of the total extent of Tamil Nadu. The district name is spelled as ' Kanniyakumari ' in official records which are in tune with the spoken name of the district in Tamil language. The District is bound by Tirunelveli District on the North and the east. The South Eastern boundary is the Gulf of Munnar. On the South and the South West, the boundaries are the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea. On the West and North West it is bound by Kerala. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 : Kovalam - Trivandrum (tour Ends)

Morning have breakfast at resort later check out Hotel and drive to Airport / Railway Station for departure

THE ERAVIKULAM NATIONAL PARK WILL BE CLOSED TO VISITORS FOR TWO MONTHS FROM 2ND FEBRUARY TO 1ST APRIL 2015 DURING THE CALVING SEASON OF NILGIRI TAHR. Note:

The cruise commences at 1230 hrs with lunch served on board and continues till dusk. At dusk the boat will anchor in a wide waterway or lake for the night (The backwaters close to boat traffic at dusk as the fisherman lay their nets in the backwaters. Other boats are not allowed to ply in the backwaters after dusk. On the following day the cruise commences again after breakfast and the guest will be dropped at Alleppey by 0900Hrs. Overnight stay at the House Boat.**Since houseboats are stationed in the bank of the backwater during the night the problem of mosquito and water borne insects do come up hence you are kindly requested to carry mosquito and insect repellent along with you. The choice of food in the houseboat is very limited and mostly basic south Indian meal is served. The quality of the houseboat cannot be compared with the quality of the rooms in the hotel where the guest is staying. The rooms are basic and small. The main concept of the houseboat is to explore the backwater beauty of the region at the closet to the nature.

Service tax for the year 2016-17 from 01ST April 2016 to听31st May 2016听as follows; 1, Hotel booking Service Tax @ 1.45% 2,Packages-Service Tax @ 4.35% 3, Transportation Service Tax @ 6.00% The above service tax should be paid extra with the quoted amount.

Reservation Policy:

1.-Confirmation of Hotel Rooms / House boat is subject to the availability.

2.-Confirmation of the Packages is subject to receipt of 100% payment i.e..., 50 % of the payment as advance & balance on or before arrival.

Cancellation Policy:

1.-Cancellation听within 30 Days听prior to the arrival date of the tour packages / Hotel Booking / Transportation: No retention charge.

2.-Cancellation听within 15 Days听prior to the arrival date of the tour packages / Hotel Booking / Transportation :50 % retention

3.-Cancellation听within 10 Days听prior to the arrival date of the tour packages / Hotel Booking / Transportation or Non Utilization of the same : 100 % Retention.

4.-There will be no retention charges for Hotel Bookings/Transportation if cancellation is done听within 40 days听prior to arrival of guests. After that 100% retention . This Cancellation Policy will be applicable only during Diwali and Christmas Periods for the groups.

Terms & Conditions

1.-The above itinerary is suggested Tour Plan. The Company is responsible for only those services which are charged from the guest. All other services which are not paid by the guest to the Company are Suggested services and Company is nowhere bound to provide that service or pay the cost for the same.

2.-Check in and Checkout Timing of the Hotel will be according to the timing of the respective Hotels.

3.-Company is not responsible for compensating any loss or additional cost incurred by the guest while taking the tour.

4.-Company is not responsible, nor liable for any damage, loss or injury caused to any passenger while taking the tour.

5.-Dollar rates are applicable only to Foreign nationals & Indians possessing foreign passports, while the INR package rates will be applicable to Indian nationals.

6.-All the disputes are subject to Ernakulum Jurisdiction only.

7.-Any Claim related to the Package must be brought to the notice of the Company within a week.

8.-If the Company is unable to provide accommodations at the booked hotels due to natural or unavoidable circumstances that interrupt the expected course of events, the clients will be provided with equivalent or higher category accommodations.
