Package Overview

This is a 4 nights/5 days holiday package of God's Own Country - Kerala. You have the option of taking daily breakfast (CP Package) or breakfast and dinner (MAP Package). If you choose to stay in houseboat for one night at Alleppey, breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided the houseboat itself. The package is available for Honeymooners, Individuals, Groups or Student groups. Pick up and drop will be from/at Cochin Airport./Railway Station.Meals not mentioned in the itinerary

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Cochin - Munnar (Arrival)

Arrival at Cochin Airport/Railway Station and transfer to Munnar . Munnar is 1800 mts above sea level and also the place of South India's highest peak (Anamudi-2695 mts). On the way visit Valara, Cheeyappara waterfalls & Tea Plantations. On arrival at Munnar transfer to Hotel. Check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park - open as per the directions by the forest authorities ), the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr (Hermitragus Hilarious)- the mountain goat of South India & Tea Musium. Evening have a short visit at Munnar town. You can see the beautiful tea estates like a green paradise. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 2 : Munnar

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing. Maduppatty dam ,Echo Point, Kundalay Dam,Pothenmedu View Point, Blossom Park etc are some of the highlights of the sightseeing. Shopping & overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 3 : Munnar - Thekkady

Morning have breakfast later check out and drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is a world famous wildlife sanctuary and it is also called as Periyar. On arrival check in Hotel Afternoon proceed for a game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc evening you can take a Elephant ride at Periyar wild life and rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 4 : Thekkady - Alleppey (Houseboat)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to houseboat . Around 1200 hrs check in at the Houseboat and start your cruise through the rich and splendid backwater. Just relax at the deluxe houseboat. It will be a unique and exclusive experience in your lifetime. You will be cruising along the village sides and paddy fields witnessing the core life of the Kerala villages for the whole day. The house boat is fully furnished with bedrooms and a kitchen. Dinner and overnight at the houseboat.

Houseboats are for Exclusive usage and not shared

Houseboats are accompanied by navigator and cook

Meal plan - start with Lunch and ends with Breakfast (Typical Kerala Cuisine ,if you require any other cuisine inform us in advance)

6 PM till 8 AM Houseboat will be stationed , and cruise will start again from 8AM .

AC Houseboats - AC is operational only from 8 PM to 6AM .( if you require 24 hour AC, it will be charged extra )

The cruise commences at 1230 hrs with lunch served on board and continues till dusk. At dusk the boat will anchor in a wide waterway or lake for the night (The backwaters close to boat traffic at dusk as the fisherman lay their nets in the backwaters. Other boats are not allowed to ply in the backwaters after dusk. On the following day the cruise commences again after breakfast and the guest will be dropped at Alleppey by 0900Hrs. Overnight stay at the House Boat.**Since houseboats are stationed in the bank of the backwater during the night the problem of mosquito and water borne insects do come up hence you are kindly requested to carry mosquito and insect repellent along with you. The choice of food in the houseboat is very limited and mostly basic south Indian meal is served. The quality of the houseboat cannot be compared with the quality of the rooms in the hotel where the guest is staying. The rooms are basic and small. The main concept of the houseboat is to explore the backwater beauty of the region at the closet to the nature.

Service tax for the year 2013-14 as follows; 1, Hotel booking 芒鈧€淪ervice Tax @ 1.236% 2,Packages- Service Tax @ 3.09% 3, Transportation 芒鈧€� Service Tax @ 4.95% The above service tax should be paid extra with the quoted amount.

Confirmation of Hotel Rooms / House boat is subject to the availability.

Confirmation of the Packages is subject to receipt of 100% payment i.e..., 50 % of the payment as advance & balance on or before arrival.

The above itinerary is suggested Tour Plan. The Company is responsible for only those services which are charged from the guest. All other services which are not paid by the guest to the Company are Suggested services and Company is nowhere bound to provide that service or pay the cost for the same.

Check in and Check out Timing of the Hotel will be according to the timing of the respective Hotels

Dollar rates are applicable only to Foreign nationals & Indians possessing foreign passports, while the INR package rates will be脗听applicable to Indian nationals.

All the disputes are subject to Ernakulam Jurisdiction only.

Any Claim related to the Package must be brought to the notice of the Company within a week.
