Package Overview

Ayurveda is a science deals with both physical as well as mental health which accounts to the total wellbeing of a person. In today鈥檚 stressful life man has no time for his personal health.

Ayurveda at punnamada offers some special short-term packages which are rejuvenating as well as de-stressing.

Special care is given to the physical health mainly concentrating on the aches and pain and also computer related injuries .At the same time there will be specific de-stress treatment also. The treatments are incorporated in such a way that maximum benefit is attained with in 2 or 3 days.

Treatments include synchronized massages, shirodhara (medicated oil poured in an oscillating manner), kizhis (medicated pouch massages) and pizhichil etc.Treatments are decided after a detailed consultation with doctor and according to the condition of the person.

Ayurvedic treatments along with yoga and meditation will go hand in hand during the treatment period which adds to your total health.Service tax

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Rasayana Abhyangam, Podi Kizhi, Ushma Swedam

  Rasayana abhyangam- is a synchronized massage preformed by two therapists simultaneously. It gives total relaxation of body both mentally as well as physically. It strengthens both muscles as well as nerve tissue.
  
  Podi kizhi- Kizhi means medicine stuffed in a bag. In podikizhi the medicines are taken in the form of medicated powder. This treatment reduces the inflammation in one鈥檚 body. It also relaxes the stiff muscles.
  
  Ushma swedam-it is a medicated steam bath, highly beneficial in opening the sweat pores, thereby detoxifying ones system.
• Day 2 : Elakizhi, Sirodhara

  Elakizhi-In this medicated leaves are stuffed in a bag. This is highly beneficial for the strengthening of muscles and also corrects some of the neurological symptoms.
  
  Sirodhara-it is unique form of ayurvedic therapy of pouring medicated oil on the forehead from a specific height and for a specific period continuously in an oscillating manner. It is highly beneficial for loss of sleep, stress, migraine, head ache etc.
