Kaziranga National Park is a world-famous wildlife sanctuary located in the northeastern Indian state of Assam. It is renowned for its rich biodiversity and, in particular, for being a stronghold for the one-horned Indian rhinoceros. Kaziranga National Park is a treasure trove of biodiversity and an important symbol of conservation in India. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guwahati Airport / Rly Station 鈥� Kaziranga National Park (Approx. 230 Km / 05 Hrs)

  Welcome to Awesome Assam. Meet and be assisted by our representative at the Guwahati airport/Railway Station. Transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of the 鈥極ne Horned Indian Rhinoceros鈥�. Check in at your hotel. Evening is free for Leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga National Park.

• Day 2 : Kaziranga National Park

  Early morning explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on the back of an elephant. Apart from world鈥檚 endangered One Horned Indian Rhinoceros, the Park sustains half the world鈥檚 population of genetically pure Wild Water Buffaloes, over 1000 Wild elephants and perhaps the densest population of Royal Bengal Tiger anywhere. Kaziranga National Park is also a bird watcher鈥檚 paradise and home to some 500 species of Birds. We will return to the resort for breakfast. In the afternoon we proceed for a jeep safari. Evening come back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Kaziranga National Park.
  
  Note: Elephant rides and timings are decided by the Kaziranga National Park Management. We do not have any control on the booking. Elephant Rides and Jeep Safari are subject to availability.

• Day 3 : Kaziranga National Park 鈥� Shillong (Approx. 260 Km / 06 Hrs)

  After breakfast, proceed to Shillong, also called 鈥楽cotland of the East鈥�. Reach the majestic Umium Lake (Barapani). You may do the water sports here (at your own cost). On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Evening you can visit Police Bazaar which is the biggest local market. Overnight stay at Shillong.

• Day 4 : Shillong - Cherrapunji - Shillong (Approx. 65 Kms / 02 Hrs One Way)

  After an early breakfast drive to Cherrapunji, this is the wettest place in the world. Here you will visit Eco Park, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Cave, Thangkharang Park. Evening return to Shillong. Overnight stay in Shillong.

• Day 5 : Shillong - Dawki - Mawlynnong Village - Shillong (Approx 90 Kms / 03 Hrs One Way)

  After breakfast, visit Mawlynnong Village, the cleanest village in India. This cute and colorful little village is known for its cleanliness. It is situated 90 kms. from Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the Living Root Bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. Visit Dawki, It is along the Indo-Bangladesh border. You can enjoy boating in the crystal clear waters of the Umgnot River. Evening we will return back to Shillong. Overnight in Shillong.

• Day 6 : Shillong 鈥� Sightseeing - Guwahati (Approx. 100 Kms / 03 Hrs)

  After breakfast, visit Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures, Ward鈥檚 Lake where you can enjoy boating, Cathedral Catholic Church and Lady Hydari Park. Then take the transfer to the Guwahati. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

  • Themes : Sightseeing

• Day 7 : Guwahati Airport / Rly Station

  Post breakfast check out from the hotel and take a tour of the Kamakhya Temple (Timings 08 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm). Then take transfer to the Guwahati airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.

• Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicles, other than mentioned in the itinerary
• Entrance Fees & Guide charges
• Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc (to be borne by the client, should be directly payable on the spot).
• Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.
