Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Jammu - Srinagar

  Meet upon arrival at Jammu Railway Station / Airport, you will be met by our representative and transfer to Srinagar, The distance of about 297 kms will be covered in about 8-9 hrs. Arrive Srinagar and transfer to Houseboat.

• Day 2 : Srinagar

  Morning after breakfast sightseeing of Mughal gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure), built by Asif Khan brother-in-law of Jehangir in 1632 AD, Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. These beautiful mountains are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountainsin the background. Distance fromSrinagaris about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute, visit a carpet weaving factory. Also visit Shankrachariya Temple to have Darshan and Bird's eye view of Srinagar City and famous Dal Lake.
  
  Afternoon City Tour visiting Fort, Jamia Masjid, Shah Hamdan Shrine and walk through the naroow streets of Old City, Down Town to experience the living style of local people. Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.

• Day 3 : Srinagar / Gulmarg / Srinagar

  Morning after breakfast excursion to Gulmarg, Meadow of Flowers ( 56 km /2 hrs) situated at an altitude of 2730 meters, Enjoy the leisurely walks on the lush green meadows of flowers with a backdrop of the snow capped mountains. In winter, Gulmarg acquires a new persona that of the country's premier skiing resort. Late afternoon drive back to Srinagar.

• Day 4 : Srinagar / Pahalgam / Srinagar

  After breakfast full day excursion to Pahalgam (7200 fts) "Village of Shepherds" for overnight stay. (97 kms /2 hrs) Enroute visiting the world famous Saffron growing fields, Awantipura ruins (9th Century) and Mattan Temple(Sun Temple). Pahalgam is also famous for Indian film Industry (Bollywood). On Pahalgam is also famous for some trekking routes & also base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. Enjoy the Natural beauty, river and environs therein. Late afternoon drive back to Srinagar.

• Day 5 : Srinagar / Sonamarg / Srinagar

  After breakfast, leave for full day excursion of Sonamarg "Meadows of Gold" which is one of the most beautiful drives fromSrinagar. (84 Km/2 .5 hrs/). Sonamarg is located at a height of 2690 meters. You may take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. It serves as the base for the treks to Harmukh range via Nichnai,VishensarLake, Gangabal and to Nara Nag. This place is famous for Trout fishing.

• Day 6 : Srinagar / Patnitop

  After Breakfast, proceed to Patnitop. Patnitop is a hill top tourist location in Udhampur district on the National Highway, on the way from Udhampur to Srinagar. Patnitop is a distortion of the original name of "Patan Da Talab" meaning "Pond of the Princess". In olden times a pond existed in the meadows and the king's princess often used to have her bath there. Proceed for local sightseeing which includes Nag Temple and excursion to Nathatop and Sanasar, Dinner and overnight Hotel in Patnitop.
