Package Overview

Situated in the middle of the Thar Desert in the western Indian state of Rajasthan, Jaisalmer was once a princely state and a major medieval commerce hub. Known as the "Golden City," its architecture is set apart by the use of golden sandstone. Rising to a vast hilltop castle supported by 99 bastions, Jaisalmer Fort dominates the skyline. Beneath its imposing walls are the elaborately carved Jain temples and the magnificent Maharaja's Palace.
