Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Delhi

  Arrive Delhi by International flight. After a traditional 'Swagat' (Welcome) our representative would assist you at airport & transfer to hotel for check-in. After breakfast, take a guided tour ofOld Delhi, the 17th century walled city of Shah Jehanabad. Visiting the great Jama Masjid, Red Fort followed by walk through Chandi Chowk, the old marketplace of Shah Jahanabad, now a picturesque bazaar. Post Lunch visit Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat later drive by India Gate & President's House. Also visit Humayun's Tomb & Qutub Minar in New Delhi
  Overnight Hotel – Delhi (Breakfast & Dinner).

• Day 2 : Delhi to Sringar

  After breakfast Transfer to Airport and 2 :PM pickup to airport (sringar) transfer to Deluxe Houseboats. Late afternoon Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating and Vegetable gardens etc. Also witness walnut woodcarving and papier machie making demonstration.
  Dinner overnight in Deluxe Houseboats.
• Day 3 : Houseboats

  Morning sightseeing of Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute visit carpet-weaving factory.
  Back to Deluxe Houseboats (Srinagar) for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Hotspots Dal Lake, Mughal Garden
• Day 4 : Sringar to Sonamarg

  Full day excursion to Sonamarg by cars. The distance of about 83 kms will be covered about 2-½ hrs. Sonamarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lake. Drive back from Sonamarg.
  Back to Deluxe Houseboats (Srinagar) for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 5 : Sringar to Pahalgam

  After early breakfast and drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds). Drive through Saffron fields, visit Awantipora ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiwareman). Drive through the pine forest and along Lidder River. The total distance of about 140 kms will be covered in about 4 hrs.
  
  Fishing - Pahalgam is one of Kashmir's popular trout fishing beats. Kashmir is famous for its trout although they tend to be rather small. Additionally, fishing licenses are hard to get and rather expensive. A compulsion is to keep am guide and one is also permitted to catch six fishes, which is the daily limit. • Day 6 : Sringar to Gulmarg

  Drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view en route from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilanmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs. Chair Lifts for mountain ride are also available.

• Day 7 : Sringar

  Free full day and shopping (carpet, shawls, pashmina shawls, jewellery, wooden handicrafts paper machie etc).

• Day 8 : Delhi Agra Delhi (500 kms)

  Morning post breakfast, day at leisure
  After early breakfast we drive to Agra. Agra, the erstwhile capital of India under Great Mughal's & known for Taj Mahal - Eternal Poetry of love, built by emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Most of Agra is on the West bank of river Yamuna, with the Agra Fort & the Taj Mahal at its nucleus. Taj Mahal is quite simply one of mankind's most remarkable creations. After an early breakfast, visit Taj Mahal followed by Agra Fort. Later in the afternoon take an excursion to Sikandara, Akbar's tomb. Later in the evening we will drive back to Delhi.
  Overnight Hotel - Delhi (Breakfast and Dinner).
• Day 9 : Depart Delhi - Transfer
