Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Jammu - Patnitop - Srinagar (300Kms)

  On arrival at Jammu Airport or Railway Station (on your own) you will be met our representative and transfer you to Srinagar via Patnitop. Overnight stay at Houseboat.
• Day 2 : Srinagar:

  This morning proceed on a city tour visiting the Shankracharya temple situated atop a hill, the famous Mughal gardens - Chesmashahi, Nishant & Shalimar (Closed on Friday). These gardens were Mughal Emperors' concept of Paradise and today these are popular picnic spots. Also visit a local Handicrafts shop where you can purchase local hand crafted items - shawls, jackets, bed covers, paper mache, carpets & much more! The rest of the evening is at leisure to leisurely stroll alongside the Dal Lake or explore the local markets or watch the romantic shikaras glide. Overnightstay at Houseboat.

  • Hotspots Dal Lake
• Day 3 : Srinagar - Sonamarg (90 Kms / approx. 3 hours Drive):

  Today you embark on a full day excursion to the picturesque "meadow of gold" Sonamarg. The fast flowing Sindh river makes it popular for trout and mahseer fishing in summer. You can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in snow and ice (on direct payment basis). Return to your Houseboat in the evening. Overnight stay at the Houseboat.
  Note: The vehicle will drop and pick you up at Sonamarg car stand. To reach the glaciers, you can hire ponies on direct payment basis.
• Day 4 : Srinagar - Gulmarg (85 Kms / approx. 3 Hours Drive)

  This morning proceed to Gulmarg driving past willow trees, fast flowing streams and lush green meadows. Gulmarg - the 'meadow of flowers' is an apt term for this idyllic flower - laden meadow offering a spectacular view of towering snow capped peaks covered with dense forests of tall conifers and gigantic fir and pine trees. On arrival check into your hotel. Thereafter stroll leisurely across the green meadow to one of the world's highest Golf Course. A must is a fun - filled ride in the Gondola lift (with compliments of JK Tourism up to level 1). The rest of the evening is at leisure to relax and enjoy the beauty of Gulmarg Overnight stay at the hotel.
• Day 5 : Gulmarg - Pahalgam (148 Kms /approx. 5 Hours Drive)

  This morning proceed to Pahalgam , 'the valley of shepherds' which is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from river Lidder and Sheshnag Lake. En route visit the Awantipura ruins, an 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built by Kind Avantivaram. On Arival into Pahalgam check out into the Hotel. The rest of the evening is free to enjoy the surrounding beauty. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Themes Hill Stations & Valleys
• Day 6 : Pahalgam (Half Day excursion to Chandanwari):

  Today morning proceed on an excursion by local taxi/vehicle(due to transport rules and regulations) to Chandanwari, an idyllic picnic spot (subject to road, weather conditions & military permission). Filmgoers will recognize it instantly as it has been the location in several movies. Return to your hotel for lunch. The rest of the evening is at leisure to relax in the hotel or you may walk along river Lidder or shop for Kashmiri handicrafts in the local market. Overnight stay at the hotel.
• Day 7 : Pahalgam - Srinagar :

  After breakfast transfer to the Srinagar Airport to board your flight.
