Guwahati : Guwahati is the commercial capital of Assam and gateway to the North East India. Earlier it was known as Pragjyotishpur. Surrounded with many beautiful mountains Guwahati is a vital tourist base point to all the seven states of North East besides being an attraction in its own. Main tourist attraction places are famous Kamakhya Temple, Umananda, Navagraha Temple, War Cemetry, State Zoo, Shankardev Kalakshetra and many more.

Shillong : Known as Scotland of the east Shillong is the most beautiful Hill Station in North East India. It is the capital city of Meghalaya marked with charming valleys, Huge mountains, Lovely lush parks. Some of the famous spots in and around Shillong are Lady Hydery Park, Shillong Peak, Ward Lake, Golf Course, and many Cathedrals. Situated about 56 kms away from Shillong is Cherrapunji is known as highest rainfall area in the world along with many waterfalls and caves.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guwahati/Shillong (110 kms/4 Hrs)

  Arrival Guwahati. Pick up from Guwahati Rly Station/Airport and transfer to shillong.Enrout Borapani Lake and arrive shillong. Check in at hotel. After Lunch Local sightseeing in Shillong covering Ward鈥檚 Lake, Don Bosco Church, Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls, Local market (closed on Sundays). Overnight in Shillong.

• Day 2 : Shillong/Cherrapunji (68 kms/2 hrs)

  7 am :Day long excursion to Cherrapunji and back to Shillong. Major attractions Mausmai Caves, Eco Park, Waterfalls and many view points.Return to Shillong and overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Shillong/Guwahati

  Depart Shillong Early in the morning. Arrive Guwahati to Kamakhya Temple. Later Transfer to Rly Station/Airport foryour onward journey.
