Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival

Pick up from Delhi international airport over to the hotel.

Day 2 : Leave to Shimla

Leave to Shimla long drive 360 km. On arrival in Shimla check in hotel and evening walk around the city.

Day 3 : Shimla to Sarahan, 175 kms

On enroute visiting sun temple at Nirath and Rampur. On arrival check in hotel . Evening visit Bhimakali temple which is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths Hindu religion. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 4 : Sharahan to Sangla, 113 kms

On way visit the remote village of Rackcham and chitkul. On arrival at Sangla check in hotel/camp.

Day 5 : Sangla to Kalpa, 55 kms

Morning visit Kamru village and fort after heading to Kalpa which is located in the backdrop of Kinnor Kailash mountain range. On arrival check in hotel and evening free to explore Kalpa village.

Day 6 : Kalpa to Tabo, 167 kms.

On the way visit the village Nako beautifully located on the banks of small lake. On arrival in the Tabo check in night in Guest house.

Day 7 : Tabo to Kaza, 68kms

Morning visit Tabo monastery, after heading to Kaza enroute visits Lalung and Ohankar gonpa. On arrival in Kaza check in at Guest House.

Day 8 : In Kaza

The day, morning visit the Ke- monastery 12 kms from Kaza, this old Gonpa at one time used to acted as a fort.in the Gonpa valuable thangkas and paintings. Panoramic views of the area and visit the small Kiber Gonpa 9kms. Kiber the highest inhabitant place at the elevation of 4200mtrs.

Day 9 : Kaza to Jispa, 200kms.

Driving towards to village Kelong located on the high way of Manali to leh, passing through the pass Kunzam 4550 mtrs. Which provide magnificent views of Chinab ranges. On arrival in Kelong/ jispa check in at the Hotel.

Day 10 : Jispa to Tsomori-ri, 270 kms

After breakfast proceed to ladakh, throughout the enroute different colors of mountains and panoramic views, crossing the Baralacha la 4890 mts, Nakeele la and Tachang-la 5059 mtrs. Lunch at Pang, after drive to Tsokar, the salt lake and then to tsomori-ri. Check in at camp.

Day 11 : To leh, 240 kms. Elevation 3500 mtrs from the sea level

Before leaving to leh, early morning rush to catch the live show activities of the Nomadic of Changthang of Korzok. Then drive to leh, on the way enjoy the local houses. On the arrival in leh check in at hotel.

Day 12 : In leh

Visits around the leh town

Day 13 : Leh to Nubra/ north of leh. 120kms. Nubra is at the elevation of 3100 mtrs.

Leaving at 8 a.m from the hotel after two hours driving will be on the world highest motor-able road Kardong-la 18380 feets. From the top view furthest to the north the Karakuram ranges with the white snow peaks with different shapes. And the panoramic view of whole Leh town with Stok ranges.

Driving down hill to Nubra will pass Kardong village halt for lunch, after zig-zag driving will see the Shayok river letar the river will joined with the Saichen river close to Diskit the headquarter of Nubra valley and Visit Diskit monastery situated on the hillock, at Hundar village the double humped camel .check in camp.

Day 14 : Visit the samstanting monastery

Leave early morning to visit the samstanting monastery and then drive back to leh via same route.

Day 15 : Leave to Pangong lake, 240 kms

Leaving to pangong at 8.a.m morning, driving to the left side of Indus for an hour with local villages, then truned to left starts uphill driving two hour, later reach to the Chang-la 17200 feets , enjoy the landscape of Himalaya. Soon starts to descend to Tangtse village the Headquarter of Changthang. After Tangtse another one hour to reach to pangong lake. Late in the evening and early morning catch the beautiful scenery of lake that change in different colours.

Day 16 : Leh

Return to Leh via same route. On way visit Himis, Thiksay, Shey.

Day 17 : Leh to Lamayuru. 120kms.

The day, leaving the leh town and heading to the west of ladakh the lower part of leh, this region is famous for fruits and especially for apricot. On enroute visit the Basgo castle, likir monastery, Alchi temple the eleventh century and will pass the mighty river confluence of Zanskar and Indus. On arrival at lamayuru check in hotel.

Day 18 : Visit Lamayuru monastery

Early morning visit the morning assemble prayer of Lamayuru monastery and then heading to Kargil. Crossing the Namki-la 4100mtrs and fotu-la 4200mtrs. On the way visit the Maitreya Buddha at Mulbek village. On arrival in Kargil check in hotel.

Day 19 : Kargil to Srinagar, 220 kms

Have to leave early morning because of the traffic, crossing the Zooje-la pass 4000mtrs, will pass the world second coldest place Darass. Sonamarg the beautiful meadow place. On arrival in Srinagar check in at house boat.

Full day visit around the Srinagar, some garden and boating.
