Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Delhi

  On arrival at Delhi airport or railway station, our representative will meet you to pick up you and check into hotel. Rest of the day is at your own choice. Stay overnight at hotel.
• Day 2 : Delhi City Tour

  After breakfast first we will visit old Delhi. The Raj Ghat, Red fort & Jama Masjid are important places to visit, you may also visit Chandni Chowk, etc. Later on proceed to visit the New Delhi. The Qutub Minar, tallest stone tower in India, imposing India Gate and the Rastrapathi Bhawan, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Lotus Temple and, newly built Akshardham temple are of much significance. By evening return to your hotel for overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Delhi to Agra

  Next morning after breakfast you will drive to Mughal city Agra and on the way also visit Mathura the birth place of Lord Krishna. This afternoon visit the Agra fort, built by the great Emperor Akbar and check into Hotel. Later evening visit to the famous Taj Mahal the symbol of love, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. By evening return to your hotel for overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Agra to Jaipur

  After breakfast you will drive to the pink city of Jaipur enroute you will visit the Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. On arrival check into your hotel and rest of the day is at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel in Jaipur.

• Day 5 : Jaipur City Tour

  Next morning after breakfast visit the Amber fort, built in 16th century, enjoy an elephant ride at Amber fort. Drive past the Hawa Mahal-a Palace of winds. In the afternoon you will visit the city palace and museum, walk to adjacent Jantar Mantar observatory. Later evening Bazaar etc. Stay overnight at hotel in Jaipur.

• Day 6 : Jaipur to Ranthambhore

  After breakfast you will be transferred by road to Ranthambhore. After check in at Hotel visit the Ranthambhore Fort- Built in 994 AD atop step high creek, the fort wall runs round the summit and has a number of semi-circular bastions, some with sheer drops of over 65m and stunning views. Overnight at hotel.
• Day 7 : Tiger Safari & transfer to Delhi

  Early morning proceed for Tiger Safari in Ranthambhore National Park. It is one of the finest tiger reserves in the country, The sanctuary has a large numbers of sambar, chittal, nilgai, chinkara, langurs, wild boar and peafowl etc. Later on you will be transferred back to Delhi.

• Day 8 : Delhi to Ahmedabad - Sayla

  After breakfast drop to Delhi airport connect flight to Ahmedabad and travel 136 km (2.5 hr.) to Sayla. Afternoon visit to Latura to see the Asiatic Wild Ass (3-hour excursion). Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 9 : Sayla - Gir National Park

  After breakfast drive to Gir (5-hours driving time) calling in on the way at Junagadh to see the imposing Uparkot Fort, Buddhist cave - sites, 3rd century BC Ashoka rock edicts, the palace museum filled with Nawabi treasures, the flamboyant royal mausoleum complexes. Arrive lunch - time at Gir Birding Lodge and depart after your meal for a safari in the Gir National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary. This deciduous forest is the last abode of the Asiatic lion and also has a thriving panther (leopard) population. It also has a large population of chital or spotted deer, sambhar, blue bull antelope, chinkara gazelle, chousingha (the world's only four - horned antelope), wild boar and other wildlife. A number of attractive birds can be seen on the game - drive trail.
  
  Dinner and overnight at Gir Birding Lodge.

• Day 10 : Gir National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary

  Morning and evening drives in the Gir forests to look for the two big cats and to watch other wildlife. Between the drives, visit Somnath to see the shore temple (one of the 12 holy abodes of Shiva), Sun Temple, Ahilya Temple and other monuments. Dinner and overnight at Gir Birding Lodge.

• Day 11 : Gir National Park - Sayla

  Morning drive in the Gir for wildlife viewing and birding. Drive back to Sayla. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

  Morning village visit and birdwatching in Mansarovar Lake just 5 minutes away from the bungalow. Or visit the Indus Valley site at Lothal enroute to Ahmedabad. Drive back to Ahmedabad for return flight/train.
