Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi – Agra (By Train), Agra – Jaipur by Surface (232 kms – 4 hrs drive Approx.)

  Early Morning pickup from and transfer to Railway Station to board the shatabdi express train. Arrive Agra meet and assist by Imazine Holidaysrepresentative cum guide and transfer to Hotel for wash and change then visit to Taj Mahal - Monument to Love which was built in 1630 by Mghal Emperor Shah Jahan as a tomb for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1631, and is believed to have taken 18 years to complete, with over 20,000 craftsmen working around the clock. The design and construction is said to be that of the legendary architect, Ustad Ahamad Lahori. Legend has it that once construction was completed, Shah Jehan had Lahori's hands cut off, and blinded, so he would never be able to duplicate the structure. What makes the Taj Mahal unique is its perfect proportions, distinct femininity, medium of construction and ornamentation. Its marble exterior reflects rose and golden tints at sunrise and sunset, while it is dazzling white during the day. This is where Emperor Shah Jahan was kept under house arrest by his third son Aurangzeb and spent the last year of his life viewing the Taj Mahal from across the river Jamuna. Evening drive for Jaipur via the Ghostly deserted red sandstone city of Fatehpur Sikri, built in 1569 by the Great Emperor Akbar. Today it is deserted & left in solitude to reminisce over its past glory. Arrive Jaipur check into Hotel. Overnight stay at Jaipur.

• Day 2 : Jaipur Sightseeing – Delhi (By Train)

  Jaipur is also known as The Pink City of India, and also noted for its craftsman skilled in the art of cutting precious stones and famed for its garnets and rubrics. After breakfast visit to Amber Fort - marvelous example of Rajput architecture with its terraces and ramparts reflected in the Maota Lake below. Past, present and future merge at Jai Singh's Observatory, where time has been accurately measured since the 17th century. Evening trainsfer to Railway Station to board the Shatabdi express for Delhi. Arrive Delhi check into Hotel. Overnight stay at Delhi.
