Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Delhi - Welcome to India

  Our representative at the airport welcomes you and then you will be transferred to the hotel in a private car. Rest & overnight in Delhi.
• Day 2 : New Delhi: Old & the New Facets

  In the first half we visit the Ancient (OLD) parts of Delhi covering the Red fort, Jama Masjid & Chandni Chowk. We drive towards Connaught place - the blooming heart of New Delhi via Raj Ghat. The second half takes you through the Modern (NEW) parts of Delhi covering the India Gate, President House and Sansad Bhavan. The evening gives you the option of enjoying the Sound & light show at the red fort or at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Delhi to Agra

  Today after breakfast we drive down to Agra. Arrive Agra in the afternoon. Afternoon tour of Agra. Visit the famous Taj Mahal built by Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 4 : Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur

  Today after breakfast drive to visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is 40 kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. Later proceed for a three hours journey to the Pink City. Check in at the hotel on arrival in Jaipur. Relax and refresh. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 5 : Jaipur

  Morning after breakfast visit Amber Fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Ascend the Fort on Elephant back on your own. Afternoon tour of Jaipur. Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan was given a color coat of pink a century ago in honor of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this color. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory & Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Evening free on your own. Overnight at the Hotel.

• Day 6 : Jaipur - Delhi

  Today after breakfast we drive to the Airport ( Delhi Airport or Jaipur Airport ) to board flight for onward Journey.
• Day 7 : Delhi - Amritsar

  Morning drive to New Delhi station to board Shatabdi Express to Amritsar. Breakfast onboard. Arrival at Amritsar Airport and transfer to Hotel. After some relax drive to Bagha ( Indo-Pak Border) to witness the retreat ceremony hosted by the India and its neighbor country on border. Take photographs and meet people who gather to witness this event from far places.
• Day 8 : Amritsar

  Morning after breakfast you would spend entire day in city tour of Amritsar, visiting The Golden Temple. It is a mix of Hindu and moslem architecture and a gold coated dome what makes it called Golden temple. Visit the entire temple premises. Also visit the museum which houses a rare collection of historical articles and paintings depicting biography of all Sikh Gurus (Teacher) . If you wish you can have food here in which is served in Langar ( Community Kitchen). In Langar Hall , free meals are served to thousands of people by volunteers every day. Then visit Jallianwala Bagh located at a stones throw from Golden Temple. It is a witness of the tragedy called Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. Lunch at Hotel. Later transfer to Amritsar Station to Board Train to Delhi. Arrival at Delhi and Transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay at Delhi.

• Day 9 : Delhi - Departure

  Morning drive to airport to board the flight for onward journey or way back home.
