Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive at Srinagar Airport

  On arrival at the airport take a transfer to the houseboats. On reaching there, check-in at the respective houseboats. Relax, unpack and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. The evening is reserved for a Shikara ride on the Dal Lake (on direct payment basis). Stay overnight at the houseboat at the Dal Lake, a unique and gratifying experience.

• Day 2 : Srinagar - Pahalgam (96 kilometres in approximately 3 hours)

  After breakfast check out from the houseboat, proceed to Pahalgam which is 2195 meters above the sea level. On your way, visit the Avantipur Ruins, the 1100-year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Check-in at the hotel and enjoy a delicious hot lunch. Explore the market of Pahalgam at your own leisure and later, enjoy a scrumptious dinner at the hotel and stay there overnight.
• Day 3 : Pahalgam - Srinagar (96 km in approximately 3 hours)

  After breakfast, enjoy the drive to Srinagar and check-in to your hotel. After a while, proceed to visit the Shankaracharya Hill Temple and grand Mughal Gardens (Chashme Shahi, Nishat Bagh & Shalimar Bagh). The sacred Shankaracharya Temple, also known as Jyeshteswara, occupies the top of the hills (about 1,000 feet above the surrounding Takht-I-Sulaiman plains in the south-east of Srinagar). Return to your Srinagar hotel for an overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Srinagar - Gulmarg Excursion (52 kilometers in approximately 2-3 hours)

  After breakfast go to Gulmarg (2650 meters above the sea level). Spend the day sightseeing at the picturesque sceneries everywhere around you. You can take the exhilarating cable-car ride to Khilanmarg or Apharwat Snow Point (Cable car ride and Pony ride are not included in the package). After what will prove to be a soul-refreshing day, come back to your hotel in Srinagar for an overnight stay.
• Day 5 : Srinagar Departure

  Pack your bags and after breakfast at the hotel, indulge in some shopping for you and for friends back home, at various Kashmiri art and craft stores. After that, get transferred to the Srinagar Airport to board your flight back home.
