Moderate - On these treks one is not required to trek for more than 4/5(MAX) hrs a day. Also the terrain is not too difficult. These treks are normally a week or so long. For these treks prior trekking experience is not necessary. Very rarely on these treks would one camp at altitudes higher than 3800m. These treks are great for first timers or for veterans wanting to go on a trail which is relatively less demanding.

If one is looking at a short 3-day trek in the Himalayas then look no further. This is one of the most enchanting short treks and lies in the Pubbar Valley of Himachal Pradesh. This hike is in a protected area and hence there are minimal signs of civilization and abundance of flora & fauna, which adds to the beauty of the place.
One of the best kept secrets in the interiors of Shimla district is the endless expanse of forests. A majority of this forest cover is still preserved in the valley of forests also known as Pabbar Valley where Kuppar Bugyal resides. A trek through this region will show you flora and fauna like you've never seen before! Endless expanses of moist Deodar trees, mixed coniferous forests and rhododendron forests sit breathing quietly over a large part of this popular hill station. These forests reside in what is known as Pabbar Valley, where Kuppar Bugyal lies. Giri Ganga stream is originated from peak Kuppar(11000feet) and it has all the holy values for local people of Shimla.
The view from top of Kuppar covers, pirpanjal, baspa range, chanshal range, rupin-supin range, harkidoon range and whole reserved forest of giri Kuppar. There are beautiful old temples to visit in this area and a top view Raja Jubbal palace from top.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Depart From Delhi

  1930hrs Move from Delhi - Shimla - Khara Pathar (12Hrs).
• Day 2 : Arrival at Khara Pathar

  Reaching Khara Pathar camp site by traveler. Khara Pathar is Motorable pass connects Pabbar valley to Shimla. Its 75kms from Shimla city and altitude is 9000 feet above sea level. Stay at Wooden Lodge Rest and Relax have hot lunch and Himachali cultural evening awaits you. (Folk song, Welcome by locals, Bonfire).

  • Themes Hill Stations & Valleys
• Day 3 : Start Trekking

  Trek from Khara Pathar to Giri Ganga(9800feet). Its a 5 kms Gradual and Easy trek. trek goes along the thick pine forest giri Ganga campsite. Beautiful Camp site surrounded by Scenic Mighty Himalayas. In night bonfire.
• Day 4 : Reaching Kuppar Top

  Most Awaited day. Celebrate New Year on Kuppar top. Scenic place to click beautiful Panoramic Pictures of the Pir Panjal Range and Pabbar Valley and Himalayan Ranges.
  Trek from Giri Ganga campsite to Kuppar(11000feet) and back to campsite. It will be a full day trek covering the whole Giri Ganga valley till Kuppar.
  Night: New Year Celebration at Camp with bonfire and good food. Enjoy the Milky way and a company of zillions of stars.

• Day 5 : Giri Ganga - Khara Pathar - Shimla

  Trek from Giri Ganga to Khara Pathar. Back to Shimla. Enjoy outing in Shimla and you can explore the town famous for bakeries, Churches, cafes etc.
  Evening 8 PM Move for Delhi.
• Day 6 : Arrival in Delhi

  Morning Arrival in 魅影直播 with Great Memories.
